After Jaune fell off the platform, what was left of Team RWABY pressed on. NeoCat leapt forward and used his claws to attack Blake, who dodged and tried to attack back, but NeoCat's form shattered.

He reappeared behind Blake and kicked her, launching her away towards the others. Weiss stabbed her sword into the ground, blanketing it in ice. Yang followed up with a ground smash, causing a mist to form around them.

NeoCat went to attack again, but a tree branch dropped down in front of him. "The leaves!" Jaune shouted from above. "Burn the leaves!" Yang fired off some rounds from her gauntlets while Blake used a fire clone to help.

Abinus activated the Fire Dust in his sword and slashed the air in front of him, the leaves being set even more ablaze. Weiss used a glyph to blow the smoke towards NeoCat as Jaune jumped to the ground, joining his friends.

NeoCat cackled. "Taking a page out of the caterpillar's book, hm?" He inhaled some of the smoke. "The leaves have no effect on me." "Maybe not, but that's not the case for Neo." Jaune said.

NeoCat felt a reaction and started to cough, falling to his knees. "No!" he shouted. "These regrets, these feelings! I can't... I can't!!!" The Huntsmen watched as the Cat was separated from Neo.

Neo ran from the smoke, free from the Cat's control, and fell to her knees. Team RWABY and Jaune looked back over at the smoke to see that the Cat took on a much more monstrous form, standing on two legs.

He leapt forward and slammed the ground, knocking Jaune, Weiss, Abinus, Blake and Yang back. Abinus shook his head as he gathered his bearings. His teammates did the same and they jumped back into the fray.

They all tried their best, but it still wasn't enough. Suddenly, a bright light came from where Ruby's wooden statue was and Abinus shielded his eyes. He saw Ruby standing there, her symbol back on her belt as her cloak flowed in the wind.

She spun out Crescent Rose, her silver eyes filled with determination once again. Abinus took in a sharp breath, staring at Ruby. He smiled. "Roses."

"Ruby!" Weiss said. "You're... You're you!" Yang added. "How?" Blake asked. "She knew what she needed to be all along." Jaune said with a grunt. The Cat cackled.

"How PURRFECT!!!" he said. He pounced toward Ruby. She deflected the attack before swinging her scythe with a flurry of attacks at the Cat like she used to. The Cat grabbed Crescent Rose and tried to punch Ruby, but she quickly dodged with her Semblance.

She smirked and used her gun to fired at the Cat. The Cat got knocked back and angrily glared as Team RWABY surrounded him. He unleashed an energy beam from his mouth and Ruby dodged as Blake slashed the Cat.

Abinus ran forward, jumping into the air. He overshot and grabbed the Cat's tail to loop himself around, but the Cat threw him up into the air. Abinus used the moment to slash down on the Cat as he came back toward the ground before retreating.

Yang used her Semblance to punch the Cat back and Weiss trapped his feet in ice. She launched a Nevermore summon, which the Cat destroyed with another energy beam.

Ruby attacked from behind as the Cat jumped into the air. Ruby, Abinus, Blake and Yang jumped into the air and Weiss made a bunch of glyphs for them to jump off of. They all attacked with all they had before all five members of Team RWABY jumped into the air and launched one final devastating blow on the Cat, knocking him to the ground.

Everyone landed back on the ground and as the dust settled, everyone put away their weapons and Ruby turned to Abinus before hugging him tightly. Abinus was slightly startled by the embrace, but returned the favor.
