"WEISS!!!" Jaune screamed, running over for the girl. Abinus put his hand on Ruby's shoulder, lightly shaking her to try and get her up. Oscar and Nora soon joined him.
"Ruby, get up!" Oscar said. "Come on, we need you." Abinus said. After a moment, Ruby stirred for a moment. "Ruby, come o-" he got cut off by the man who was the one to come in through the doors earlier.
"OZPIN!!!!!" he screamed. Oscar looked over at him and Abinus looked back at Ruby. He ignored most of what was going on around him, his main focus on Ruby.
Cinder was the once to catch his attention. "Ozpin is here?!" she asked. "Is that a problem?" Raven shot back. "I'm not sure, but right now we've got the upper hand. Let's not waste it." Cinder said.
She turned her attention to Lionheart, shouting to him, "Leo! Open the path to the vault!" Lionheart got up and approached the statue. He took out his pocket watch and put it on the statue, making it start to lower.
Yang looked at what was in front of her, her gaze shifting from Jaune, Weiss and Ren to Nora, Ruby and Abinus. Nora looked at Yang. "Stop them! We've got your team covered!"
Yang lingered for a moment before taking Nora's advice, but she got kicked to the ground by Mercury, who was soon joined by Emerald. "You wanna get to them? You're going to have to get through all of us." she said.
She used her Semblance to make multiple copies of Mercury, which surrounded Yang. Ruby slowly opened her eyes and Abinus smiled in relief. He helped the girl to her feet, and she noticed her fallen teammate.
"Weiss!" she cried. She ran over to her teammate's side, Abinus following behind her. "What happened? What's going on?!" Ruby asked. "I think she's going to be okay! She seems to be stabilizing." Ren said with a smile.
Ruby smiled then looked over at her sister, who was struggling in her battle. She looked over at Oscar, who was barely dodging blows. Ruby turned back to Weiss and lifted Jaune's hands to reveal that Weiss' wound was closed.
"Whatever you're doing, don't stop!" she said. "I won't." Jaune said. "Good. Oscar needs help." Ruby said. "I'm on it." Ren said. "I'm sticking with you, Ruby." Abinus said.
"I could use the help. Jaune and Weiss still need cover." Ruby said. "No one's gonna touch 'em." Nora said. "Okay, make it happen, RANJR!" Ruby said. She stood up and transformed Crescent Rose into its scythe form.
She ran forward, knocking Emerald back and landing at Yang's side. Abinus flipped over Emerald, landing next to Ruby. "Thanks, sis." Yang said. "You okay?" "No. I'm angry." Ruby said.
The three ran forward, Ruby and Abinus taking on Mercury while Yang dueled with Emerald. Mercury managed to kick Crescent Rose out of Ruby's hands. "Uh oh, what're you gonna do now?" he asked sarcastically.
He tried to throw a left cross, but Ruby ducked and headbutted him from below, making him stumble back. "Whatever it takes to shut you up." Ruby said as she picked up Crescent Rose.
Her and Abinus pushed Mercury back the best they could, getting him close to the wall. He went after Abinus, kicking him away and making him bounce across the ground.
"Abinus!" Ruby cried. Abinus shook off the stun, glaring at Mercury from under the shadows of his hood. His grip around his sword tightened as he stood up.
A red glow surrounded his body and he looked down at himself slightly confused. He clenched his fist and looked back over at Mercury as the glow faded.
He felt like he was using his Semblance, but there wasn't anything blocking his vision. He ran forward, slashing at Mercury with more strength than normal.
"Is that your Semblance?" Ruby asked. "No. At least, not fully." Abinus said as he dodged a kick from Mercury. "I guess this is what Ozpin meant by 'a toned down version'."
Ruby gave a small gasp as she realized something. "Abinus! Crescent Shadow!" she said. Abinus nodded and flipped back as Ruby held out Crescent Rose. He landed on the scythe, crouching down as he got ready.
Ruby launched him forward using her weapon, him slashing Mercury as he passed by. Ruby planted Crescent Rose into the ground and started to fire at Mercury.
Abinus used the wall as a springboard, doubling back and hitting Mercury from the back, landing next to Ruby. She pulled her scythe out of the ground and looked over at Abinus in awe.
"That's awesome!" she said. "Sure, that's a good word for it." Abinus said. He looked over at Nora, who swung her hammer and sent the man, now with Dust crystals in his arms, through the front wall of the building.
After a minute, the sounds of Mistral airships came through as searchlights shone through the windows. Weiss got back up and summoned a Queen Lancer, bringing the man back inside.
Weiss gasped as she noticed someone enter the building. Abinus, Ruby and Yang turned to look and gasped as well when they saw Blake standing there. "Yang?" the Faunus asked.
Yang stared back at her in disbelief until Ruby called out to her, snapping her out of her trance. "Yang! Go!" She pointed towards the vault entrance.
Yang ran for it, Emerald and Mercury trying to stop her. "No!" Emerald cried. She tried to stop Yang, but ended up on the ground. Mercury grabbed her metal arm, but Yang detached her arm and jumped down the hole.
Mercury and Emerald tried to follow her, but were stopped by Weiss bringing up an ice wall to keep them from going down after Yang. Ruby looked back at Blake and the two nodded at each other, Blake running back outside.
