Sarah POV
Beep beep. I swipe my finger across my phone alarm again. "Worst bloody invention ever." I hear Anna laughing she must be ok this morning.
"You can shut up, Anna!"
"Get your lazy ass up and shower," I groan, getting up, I stretch, making my way to the bathroom. I turn on the shower and get in the warm water. It feels so good that after ten minutes, I get out, wrap myself in a fluffy towel, brush my teeth, and go back to my room. I sit at my table and blow dry my hair, then straighten it. Going to my closet, I grab a pink blouse and black trousers, my underwear, a pink set. I get dressed, do my makeup, and once I'm happy with my appearance, I go to the kitchen.
"You're up Sarah wow!"
"Yes, no need to sound surprised."
"You look good," Anna says
"Thanks Hun so do you."
I grab a bowl and get some cereal, then cut up a banana
"Sooo Darren last night." There is a tone in her voice, but I ignored it
"I know I can't believe it?, you were a bit rude!"
"What?"
"Well, when we got home, you seemed off. You didn't even say goodbye to Mary and Janet,"
"I had a bad day," she mumbles
"That's what I thought look lets just forget it." I smile at her
"So Darren,"
"Anna, if he thinks that I'm just going to fall at his feet, he can think again," although I want to.
"Oh feisty, what are you going to do?" I go to answer, then my mobile goes off. I look at it
"Look at this." I pass her the mobile.
"Good morning, beautiful," Anna grunts. "He's desperate,"
"What?"
"Nothing you going to reply?"
"Nope."
"Good Ok come on, it's time to make a move,"
I go to the sink, washing my bowl, and then placing it in the dishwasher. I grab my bag and put my shoes on.
"I'm ready." we lock up and make our way to work.
"It is a bit weird," Anna says
"Yes it is I mean last night was flattering but now in the cold light of day I'm pissed, I mean it's not even a day yet and he knows where I live, texting me like we have been going out for a while I may not even see him again.
"He does seem a bit full on," Anna says
"He is, but I don't care about his. I know what I want and go for it attitude. If he thinks a few nice words and I'll be in his bed, he can think again." I inwardly smile
"Wanna go out tonight? Or a girly night in?"
"No, let's go out after today. I have all next week off." I laugh
"Bitch" I laugh
"So where we going?" Anna says
"How about switch"
"Yes sounds good we going to invite the girls" Anna asks
"Of course" it's time for us to part ways
"See you at lunch" I kiss Anna's cheek "
"Love you " Anna says I make my way into the store.
