Author's pov:

It's been exactly a week since Y/n met Sunoo and Jay. Y/n and Jay had small conversations over text asking how was  day, and random chit-chats. Not gonna lie but Y/n really likes Jay's presence like whenever he's the one to text her first she can't help but smile like an idiot. Dang! She even got caught by Yeonjun once for smiling like that but ofc he didn't knew the reason behind it.

Y/n's pov:

"I'll be there in 15 mins! I just slept for an hour extra today. Sorry for that!" I said to Yeonjun who was basically shouting at me for being late at the meeting when I'm always the punctual one.

I just talked with Jay till midnight like we face-timed each other as he wanted to share few incidents with me. So, I gladly accepted and we kept on talking not even bothered about the time. Reason why I got up late today.

Grabbing my coat, I rushed to the main door with my heels on and locked the door properly and started running towards the elevator.

"UNDER WORK"
"Fuck!" I cursed knowing that today is not going to be best.

I took the stairs and started heading to the parking lot asap.
I got inside my car and without even thinking twice I started the engine and left.

I was already running 10 mins late and the meeting had already started. Looks like I might lose my job today haha how funny!

I ran towards the meeting room and slowly opened the door and saw everyone just settled down and director himself wasn't there. I noticed yeonjun coming towards me saying, "U are lucky that our meeting is running an hour late! It won't be like this everyday!"

I sighed in relief and thought, 'ig not bad day?!'

"Ik! It won't happen again sorry for that"

"Well, hey u wanna hang out today? Regular place? What about soju?" Yeonjun said smiling.

"Umm...again sorry for that but I have plans today actually maybe next time...dw I'll pay for u" I said hearing a sad sigh from Yeonjun.

"Is it a date?"

"Absolutely no. Just a random meet-up!"

"Nvm, u can go enjoy..I will hang out with Beomgyu?"

"Now who tf is beomgyu?"

"Childhood friend never mentioned rgt?! Lost contact but he got my contact somehow from someone and we are meeting so I thought it would be nice if u can join us too but it's fine!"

"I see! That's rlly nice Jun. May u have a great time ahead!"

"U too!"

"For fuck god's sake Sunoo Hyung! U and mint choco...I will be broke now buying you mint choco" Niki said annoyingly earning a death glare from from Sunoo.

"Aishhh! U are no fun...Y/n hates mint choco but still eats mint choco with me but never complains. No wonder she's a better friend than u hmph!" Sunoo grumped at Niki.

"Owh! From that I noticed something. Have u seen Jay hyung being all smiley and all whenever he stares at his phone and starts texting a particular one..he seems to be very happy." Niki giggled.

"Jay is in love dumbo!" Sunoo flicked Niki's forehead.

"Oww hyung that hurts! But who?"

"My childhood bestie" Niki gasped.

"U MEAN Y/N??!?!"

"Yah u dumbass lower ur voice! And yeah...I have witnessed with my own two eyes Jay stealing glances from Y/n" Sunoo chuckled just having a random flashback of that incident.
