Christmas Chapter

The snow flakes falling, a tall tree decorating at the entrance like anyone new would come in, mini trees getting a little bit of decoration, especially Jester's. The smell of hot chocolate filling the air. It was, officially, christmas. Every bad (well some) being forgotten for this time of year. Presents being wrapped. Christmas has finally come to the circus. The only people who really, REALLY, like Christmas are Angelica and Jester. Christmas is the only time of year that everyone can go out, for some reason that only Felix knows.

"Hey! Look, it's snowing!!!" Jester squeaked

"Huh.. it's already that time of year?" Jane asked

X walked into the entrance, holding a tray of hot chocolate, six normal sized cups and two small cups for Jonathan and Jester. "It sure is, Jane." He smiled brightly. "Hot chocolate, anyone?" He stood there, just in case there would be any fighting of which cup was theirs.

Jester was the first one to run up. X grabbed one of the small cups, a simple green cup. "Here ya go, Jester." X smiled

"Thank you!!!" Jester said as he grabbed the cup and ran back to the window where Jane was sitting.

"Want a sip?" He offered his cup to Jane

"No thanks, buddy. I'm sure X has me a cup." She smiled, softly.

Jonathan walked to X and grabbed the other small one, it was like a coffee cup but just a little smaller. It was filled only forty-five percent of the way, not too much nor too little. "You always know how to try, huh?" Jonathan said as he looked at X

"Oh please, we both know you love hot chocolate but we also know you can't have too much sugar otherwise, you'll get sick." X smirked

"Yeah yeah." Jonathan growled

X looked at Felix who was standing at the doors, waiting for them to open. "Want a drink while you wait? You know the sisters won't open them for a while. They might not even open them for what you did to Wiko."

Felix turned his head, his eye looking a little down and he was frowning. "It's Charlie's first Christmas here. I know I'm a bad person but.." He cut himself off and looked at Jester. "I... I want him to smile."

"He already is."

"Yeah but, I want to see him experience it and not just smile through a window."

X sighed and walked over to Felix, sitting his cup down next to him. "At Least you're trying for one person." He walked away. X gave Angelica and Lacy their cups, Lacy sitting on Angelica's lap while one of Angelica's wings was wrapped around Lacy, like a blanket. "Seems like someones comfy." He giggled

Lacy blushed "shut up." She grumbled as she held her cup with both of her hands.

Angelica giggled at Lacy's grumbling as she started to pat Lacy's head with her free hand. "Now now darling... no need to be angry..."

Lacy started to calm down as she rubbed herself against Angelica.

X smiled at the scene as he walked over to Void who looked a little nervous as he saw X walked to him.

"Y-you look.. Handsome.." Void said

X smiled "You're blushinggg!" He giggled, sitting the tray that still has his and Void's cup down on one of the bleachers.

"A- am not!"

"Are but, that's alright." X smiled as he let his hand intertwine with Void's

Void looked down as he started to blush more.

Soon everyone was in bed, asleep. Felix was a little upset at how Jester couldn't play in the snow but otherwise, everyone else was okay.
