as you and Jenna listened to your playlist, Joy had spoken up from the row next to you
"you know, you two would make a cute couple, Y/n" she says with a sly chuckle
"please, I don't see her that way" you half told the truth
"really? because the way you reacted after she kissed your cheek says otherwise" she teased
The hum of the plane's engines seemed to intensify as Joy's words lingered in the air. Joy had seen it all. you didn't think anyone was watching,
"Come on, Y/n, don't play coy. I've seen enough rom-coms to recognize the signs," Joy teased further
You attempted to downplay the situation, "It's not like that. We're just friends, castmates you know?"
Joy raised an eyebrow, "Sure, just friends. Friends who share playlists, friends who give cheek kisses, and, oh, let's not forget the fact that when ever you see her you turn bright red. i don't know why you've been trying to avoid her, but if you keep doing it it will ruin your friendship"
You let out a sigh, you couldn't entirely deny it. Glancing at Jenna, who was now peacefully asleep with her head resting on your shoulder, you look back as Joy focused on her phone, you gently removed Jenna's headphones, considering the possibility that avoiding her might be causing more harm than good. Spotting a travel blanket in Jenna's bag, you carefully pulled it out and wrapped it around her.
The conflicting thoughts in your mind stirred "Maybe Joy is right," you thought to yourself.
Turning your attention to your phone, you noticed a post notification from Jenna's Instagram, you opened the app and found Jenna's post from the previous night. you couldn't help but wonder why you haven't seen it sooner but as you gave it more thought, you really haven't been on your phone much in the past week you remembered Jenna saying that her manager wanted her to speak out about the photograph

As you scrolled through the comments, you couldn't help but brace yourself for the potential mess.
"yo y/n you alright bro" hunter says from the seat behind you, you peaked your head over and saw him "uh, yeah I'm ok, why you ask?" you lifted an eyebrow
"i saw you pull a blanket out, are you getting cold with that jacket on?" he says
"no it was Jenna's travel blanket? i guess, she fell asleep so i wrapped it around her" you say not realizing what your getting yourself into
