Sorry if I'm making the reader over emotional that's just how i write the reader usually

Also Kaolin is back!!! But yeah he's here to make it more chaos

(He's 1 year old and can only say like 4 words)

Anyways on to the story

Y/n's POV:

I awoke to the sound of kaolin crying, something i had to deal with for a year now

I felt clay slip out of my grip. Coldness being replaced. I heard his footsteps stop at kaolins crib.

(It's 5 am)

"Let mommy sleep a little more." Clay told him before their voices were muffled.

I fell back asleep almost immediately.

(6:30)

I woke back up not that much later. Clay was sitting on the bed with Kaolin. They were both asleep. Even though Clay Is sitting upright.

Suddenly my throat was really sore and I felt really hot. I took the blanket off of me.

I coughed two times which hurt alot. Suddenly I felt like I had to throw up. Which I did only 2 seconds later.

Clay stood up which meant he's awake now. He put Kaolin, who was still sleeping in his crib

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to" I told him as I looked at the mess on the bed

"Don't be sorry, baby. I'll take care of it." He went into the bathroom and started the water.

He comes back In the room and picks me up. Probably so I don't get anything on the floor.

He puts me down on my feet and starts to undress me

"I can do this myself." I blushed

"I can control myself, baby. How do you feel?"

"My throat hurts."

"Okay, well, im taking off work today." He told me as he picked me up and put me in the bathtub.

"I'll go wash your clothes and get you new ones." He said as he left.

After a few minutes of washing your body you could hear Kaolin practically screaming. Clay is probably about to feed him.

Soon after he stopped crying and then Clay walked in with my clothes.

"Thanks, I'll be out in a minute."

"You're welcome, okay." He walked back out.

"I love you!" I yelled to him

"I love you too!" He yelled back

I finished up and got out to change. Then I went out of the bathroom. Neither of them were in the bedroom.

I sat down on the bed that had new sheets on it. A second later Clay walked in.

"I'm going to check your temperature." Clay told me before I nodded.

(The forhead kind so it isn't super awkward to wait.)

He hovered it over my forhead for a second before checking it

"It's 101.2 Kaolin was 96.7 which is a fever for his age. So both of you need medicine. And I'm probably going to have to soon. I'll go pick some up. I'll bring Kaolin to you." He said before he left to get him

Seconds later he returned and handed Kaolin to me who was asleep.

"I'll be back." Clay told me before he left the house.

Time skip

Kaolin soon woke up after clay left. I was sitting on the couch in the living room. Kaolin was playing beside me.

Clay soon got home with the medicine.

I watched Clay struggle to get Kaolin to take his medicine with the tube thing. Then I took the medicine soon after

Time skip to night

"What?! But I can't sleep without you!" I whined after clay told me he couldn't sleep in the same bed

"I mean, I'm probably getting sick either way so I change my mind." Clay said before he got in bed before we cuddled to sleep
