The ringing was too loud for him to stay still and not wake as the surroundings were nothing but a mess. There was nothing but stinging silence which does nothing but suffocate him.
For a brief moment, jeongin wanted to lay down like a dead corpse, because there wasn't a bit of energy left in him.
The silence was so deafening, that jeongin himself felt like he was deaf to the noise outside. The ringing just dropped the moment he tried to lift himself up so that he could see and take a better look at what was happening.
He could notice only a few things, his eyesight was sore and blurry for some reason.
He touched his face and felt liquid down his forehead, making him realize it was his blood, and the moment he touched the wound that was bleeding, another set of pain shot right through his body, jabbing him in place, he wined at how tight and hard it was.
Jeongin tried his best to balance himself as he wiped the dusk away from his eyes with his dusty hands and the t-shirt he was wearing. He looked around with that very sore eyesight as he felt a weight shift from his arms.
His thoughts immediately shifted to the thoughts of the young boy in his arms before-- seung-won! He realized the entire situation and blurriness.
And the way he blacked out, almost blocking his prior memories- he finally realized that he was outside, basically as nothing but prey to the zombies as they could gobble him up and tear him apart like nothing but pieces of paper.
Jeongin looked around to find fhe essence of the child he had in his arms but he was nowhere to be found.
His eyes widened in fear as he looked around the best he could but he was nowhere - and i mean, nowhere in his sight. It was as if he disappeared into thin air
His heartbeat was faster, harder as he silently tried his best to lock his injured leg so that he doesn't make a noise.
He wasn't confirmed with the fact that noise attracts zombies but since he has a very wild imagination, he can't take any chances.
It's better to be safe in all aspects, rather than lack out in one and then die, he dragged his feet as silently as he can, back to the train hoping he'd find them there.
- hyunjin's pov -
"LET ME GO! HE'S THERE! HE'S FUCKING THERE AND ALIVE!" I scream put of anger, trying my best to pull away from the two men holding my back.
One of them is felix and the other one is someone else but from the very bunch of people from the train as they try to stop me from running and catching up to jeongin to save him.
I know he's there, i know he's alive and stuck between the boulders and stones that we attacked the zombies with.
The situation was so frantic that i couldn't even catch the next person next to me, i basically snagged seung-won from his arms and began to run back to the train.
My heart started to beat faster, as i realized that two of them were left behind. Jeongin and the other man we met before- changbin.
My fault was that i left jeongin behind in hurry of saving seung-won and now i feel just pathetic, i left him alone there in the feild of monsters and he's alone in there.
"Let me go!" I say once again with a broken grunt as felix managed to hold me back, and i am partly surprised. He looks like a collage boy and a toned, petite body he had, yet the strength he has is admirable.
"Are you fucking crazy?! You want to go in there and put yourself right in front of them as their food? I get that someone you love is there, alone. But you can't get out like this, so unprotected!"
