*Meanwhile, in Lost World...*

Sarah: *asleep in her bed*

C.F: *bursts in*

Sarah: !

C.F: Mom! Dad's not back yet!

Sarah: ...didn't we literally just have a conversation with him about this?

C.F: Yeah, but he said he'd be back soon.

🎶*FLASHBACK* 🎶

B.C: That was... weird.

C.F: DUDE! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU JUST DID?

B.C: What were those?

C.F: Those. Were wishing orbs.

B.C: *gasp* So is my wish granted?

C.F: I mean, maybe? In a way?

B.C: What do you mean?

C.F: You have to be VERY PRECISE or else it can go awry.

B.C: Oh.

C.F: And I don't think you were precise enough, as dictated by that earthquake.

B.C: You three go out to investigate here, I'll go investigate Sagaverse. Since I was referring to them as well.

C.F: You're just gonna leave us again?

B.C: Don't worry, I'll come back. I won't be very long.

C.F: ...I don't trust that.

B.C: I might stay for a little bit to set some affairs straight if something does happen to be wrong, but I'll return. You have my word.

C.F: ...fine.

*PRESENT*

Sarah: Would he lie to us?

C.F: No. And maybe.

B.D: *steps out of the shadows* He probably deserted us again.

C.F: ACK! DARK, YOU CAN'T KEEP DOING THAT!

B.D: I'll keep doing it for reactions like these.

C.F: -n-

Sarah: Where did he go?

C.F: The place known as Sagaverse.

Sarah: He's... mentioned it.

C.F: You're not seriously thinking...?

Sarah: Yeah. I'mma go there to see what's happened.

C.F: You don't even know how to do that.

B.D: One of us could send you.

C.F: Wh-

B.D: We have roots there. We could find a way.

Sarah: Could you, Dark?

B.D: Yeah.

C.F: o.o?

B.D: It's relatively simple, too.

C.F: Is it?

B.D: Yes. Now listen closely. I might be able to do some shadow shenanigans to get you there.

Sarah: That sounds weird.

B.D: You got a problem?

Sarah: no

B.D: Good. When you wanna come back, fuck you. Dad can bring you back.

C.F: Hey! You can't talk like that to our mom!

B.D: BITE ME.

Sarah: Whatever. Send me.

B.D: Alright. Give me a second.

*B.D raises his arms and the shadows in the room swarm around him, enveloping him*

C.F: ?!

B.D: Buh-bye, Mother.

*B.D points his arms at Sarah and the shadows swarm around HER... and then she's gone.*

C.F: ...WHAT DID YOU D-

*Sagaverse.*

*Sarah appears in a broken house. There's blood on the walls and signs of a struggle.*

Sarah: ...well. This is not what I was expecting.

*Sarah walks around for a little bit and goes onto the roof. There, she finds a puddle of gold on the surface...*

Sarah: Something isn't right here.

*she reaches down and dips her finger in the gold and pulls away from the heat*

Sarah: OW. I don't know what I was expecting.

*she sits and ponders a bit*

Sarah: Yeah... I don't think Burn is safe.

???: Actually, I'm safer than I've ever been.

Sarah: ! *whips around*

B.C: *locks eyes with her*

Sarah: *shakes her head* Burn...?

B.C: Hello, love.

Sarah: What the hell happened to you...?

B.C: Our Lord has blessed me. I feel happy now.

Sarah: You were never religious.

B.C: And what a heresy that was!

Sarah: *grits her teeth* So what do you want?

B.C: Join me in enlightenment.

Sarah: And if I don't?

B.C: Haha... trust me.

*B.C's eyes glow and his grin widens, gold dripping from between his teeth as well*

B.C: You will.
