I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE

I wanna see JJ I really do but i just don't know what to do. I don't know what to say. What is there to say. That Sarah spoiled that I like him and now our friendship is ruined. A knock at my window pulls me out of my thoughts. I look up to see the one and only JJ Maybank.

I turn around so I don't see him but he ends up opening my window and climbing in my room. I close my eyes and pretend I'm sleeping. I also pretend I don't hear him and he comes around my bed to face me and he places flowers right in front of me, then he walks around and gets in my bed pulling me close with his hand on my waist. He lays there for a little then he says, "I'm sorry. I should have come sooner" I still pretend I'm sleeping 

"i know you're not sleeping y/n"

I sigh in defeat and turn around to face him, flowers in hand. "thanks for the flowers. I know I don't deserve them I've practically ghosted all of you guys"

"I mean I don't blame you" he says placing some of my hair behind my ear, "I should've come sooner I should have not let you go, maybe we wouldn't be in this mess"

"JJ, you tired and I love these flower thank you so much"

"why did you run that night"

"because I was embarrassed Sarah just confessed that I like you and I panicked, I didn't want you to leave so I left. I'm so so so fucking sorry I wish I didn't do that" I look down embarrassed and nervous about what he's going to say next. 

He placed his hand on my cheek and lifted my head so I would look at him and then said "hey its okay I understand I like you a lot and I know you didn't know it then but you know it know and I don't want you to go away anymore I wanna be by your side I want you too tell me what's wrong don't run away"

"I won't"

"How about I take you out"

"like a date?"

"mhm" the hum making a smile paste on my face

"okay where?"

"I don't know maybe The Wreck. or a boat ride"

"sure I'd like that"

"okay come on then" he says grabbing my hand and getting up

"oh right now?"

"why not"

I slip on my shoes and follow JJ out the window of my bedroom. We climb off him helping me and spinning me around in the air. When we get to his dirt bike he says, "hop on princess"

I swing my leg over the bike and sit wrapping my arms around his torso, "hold on" he says right before he speeds off, a cloud of dust forming behind us. 

The feeling you get when you're on the back of a dirt bike holding onto a boy you love and letting the wind flow through your hair, zooming through cars and living your best life. It feels like your eight sticking your head out the window of your mom's car for the first time and letting the breeze hit your face. 

That day was one of the best days of my life. Just hanging out with JJ at the Wreck and laughing like we are 10 again. That day was the day I knew i would never have to look for anyone else ever again.
