To alien guard by few adept,
The threat of vacuum all that kept
The one who strength of Superman
At least for time that might withstands

But still the cold of space does keep
His mind to make escaping feat
From ever turning very long

Where other men by stony walls
Are daunt by stories very tall
The void that's just outside his cell

At door of cell did Kendra pause
For perilous chore and righteous cause
Now forced to overcome the fear
That's felt as thing does draw yet near.

Into the place the prince abodes
And all the world around her swam
As sight of man did overwhelm

Her every sense and thing she missed
She never knew now deemed she kiss
The warrior stood inside this hold

And prince who never felt the pangs

And thus would those this day that see

So deal was struck though intent give's
The opposite what words do bid

Of promise spoke between the pair.
Already each for other cared.
Then Kendra turned from prince to leave
And saw a sight that heart did grieve

There sandman stood with stern intent
The heart of women sudden rent
At Kendra man did seem to stare
With eyes that formed a hateful glare...
