Kinabukasan ay nagpa-schedule na ako ng check up for my pregnancy. To make sure that my baby is fine. I want to know that it's safe and sound inside my womb. Nagpumilit naman si bry na sumama kaya wala na akong nagawa. Hindi naman sa ayaw ko syang makasama, iniisip ko lang kasi na baka marami syang importanteng gagawin sa company. Pero ang hindi ko alam ay pina-clear nya ang schedule and meetings nya and then he file a leave for this day. Kaya sinama ko na ito dahil sobrang excited syang makita si baby. Eh ano pang magagawa ko, diba? Na'ko talaga.

"Let's go, hon." I smiled

"Yeah we should go now. I think we're running late, wife." He told me

I chuckled a bit "No, we're not. Advance kapa sa alas-kuwatro." Natatawang sabi ko

Tumawa nalang din ito atsaka ako inalalayan papunta sa parking area at papasok sa car. We just take the car that our parents brought for us since it's bigger and much comfortable. Habang nasa kalagitnaan kami ng byahe ay napapansin kong mas naging smooth pa ang pagmamaneho nya kaysa dati, alam kong noon pa man ay smooth driver na talaga sya pero mas naging smooth at malumanay lang ang takbo ng kotse ngayon. Medyo nagtataka naman tuloy ako.

"Can i ask something?" Hindi ko na napigilan at tinanong ko na sya

"Anything. Go on, I'm all ears." He answered without taking his eyes off the road

"Bakit parang ang bagal naman yata ng takbo ng kotse?" I finally asked "I mean usually kasi mabilis kang magpatakbo e.." I added

"Of course. It is for my baby's and wife's safety. Please take some nap, my wife." He answered me

"Ang OA ni daddy 'no, anak?" I said jokingly and spoke with our baby inside my womb

"Hey I'm just making you guys safe." Natatawang sabi nya

"Oo na, thank you nga daw sabi ni baby e." Biro ko pa sakanya

Puno ng biruan ang buong byahe at hindi ko na namalayang nandito na pala kami. Pag baba namin sa kotse ay pumasok na kami kaagad sa loob ng hospital at dumiretso naman ako agad sa nurse station.

"Good morning, i have an appointment with Dra. Reyes." I politely said to the nurse

"Hala, Doc Yeonah!" Gulat na sabi nya at may masayang expression "Doc ang tagal mong nawala tapos malalaman namin magkaka-baby kana. Pero congrats doc!" She smiled at me

"Thank you abby!" I said and smiled genuinely at her "Mamaya na tayo magkwentuhan, may check up pa 'ko e." I jokingly said to her

"Ay oo doc, kanina ka pa hinihintay ni Dra. Reyes. Excited nga 'yon e." She told me

"Oh sige, dito na kami ah. Mamaya ulit!" Sabi ko bago pumasok sa clinic room ni Aliyah

"Hey, I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting." I sincerely apologize to her

"Uy hindi ah, wala 'yon!" She said "Nako madami kang utang na chika sakin, gurl!" Biro pa nito saakin

I chuckled "Oh by the way, this is Kendric, my husband and the father of my baby." I introduce Kendric to Aliyah "And bry, this is Aliyah Reyes, my friend and my OB." I introduce her to Kendric also

Nag smile lang sila sa isa't isa at sinimulan na din namin ang check up.

"How's our baby, ali?" I asked her

She says, "The baby is looking good so far. Its heartbeat is strong and steady, and there are no signs of any abnormalities that we can see. It seems like everything is going well, but we'll continue to monitor it and do follow-up scans every few weeks to make sure everything is still on track."

"Aw that's good to hear.." I said in relief
"But by the way, how many months it has been?" I ask again

"From your last period, you've been pregnant for four weeks." She answered me "So far, the pregnancy is progressing normally. You can expect nausea and vomiting in the next couple of weeks. It's also important to start taking prenatal vitamins if you haven't already." She told me

"Thank you so much, ali." I smiled genuinely at her "We'll get going now, bye!" I said

Tanya nods and says, "Yes, I'm glad that everything seems to be going well so far. Good luck with everything."

I smiled at her before going out. Kendric and I walk out of the room together with a huge smile on our faces. We can't help but feel excited about our baby and everything that it will bring to our lives.

"This is the most precious blessing i've ever received in my whole existence." Kendric said then smiled

"Yeah, I also felt that we're very blessed to the point that I couldn't ask for more." I smiled back to him

My mood seems incredibly uplifted and cheerful as we walk back to the car. I still seems in shock from the thought of having a baby.

Kinabukasan ay mas maaga akong gumising para makapagluto ng breakfast para kay Kendric. Pagkatapos ay naligo at nagbihis na ako. Plano ko na kasing sabihin sa parents namin ni Kendric, both sides ang tungkol sa pagbubuntis ko. Alam kong matutuwa sila dahil matagal na rin nilang hinihintay ito. Pero syempre may kaba parin akong nararamdaman. Habang tinu-tuyo ko ang buhok ko ay nagising na pala si Kendric.

"Hon?" Pagkuha nito sa atensyon ko "Where are you going?" Panimulang tanong nito

"I'm going to tell our parents about my pregnancy, hon." I smiled "I guess this is the perfect timing." I added

"My wife why didn't you wake me up?" He said "I'm coming too," He added

"Ha? Oh no I'm so sorry, but I'm planning to tell them during lunch.. 'yon na din ang napag-usapan namin 'e. Sorry." I apologize

"That's not a problem, i can still go."

"Nasa office ka pa that time, right?" Sabi ko

"I can always cancel my appointments and other works to do today. I'm always ready to make time for you, anytime." Sabi nya naman

"Wait, what?" Itinigil ko muna ang ginagawa ko at lumapit sakanya "Bry, are you really sure?" Sabi ko

"Of course i am. Do i look like I'm joking, hon?" He sarcastically said

"If you really want to come, pwede naman nating i-reschedule e. I'll tell our parents." Akmang tatawagan ko na sana sina mommy nang biglang hinawakan ni Kendric ang kamay ko

"No. You said this is the perfect time to tell them. We're not going to cancel or reschedule it."
