"What..? Wait- what?"
Flower had told Existy about Ruby's death. Existy had doubts at first, but those doubts completely vanished after seeing the shattered jewel.
EXISTY:
(INAUDIBLE YAWN) LATE NIGHT TRIAL.. UGHH
Everyone had to go out of their cabins at midnight, lots of yawns from everyone and groans. Tennis Ball had came out, but was hidden from the large crowd.
They dug her body down into the dirt, saying their goodbyes quietly to the lively jewel who was now dead. A small stone plate carved above the dirt, the word "RUBY"
They walked back tiredly, their steps faint and quiet. Some were quite saddened of her death. Especially Bubble, who had a close bond with her.
EXISTY (tiredly):
LATE NIGHT TRIAL.. HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?!
Some of them groaned, and they were soon teleported to the large court. Existy pulled out the wheel, yada yada, you get it.
EXISTY:
FIREY, FLOWER, PIN, BLACKHOLE, BOOK, TREE, LIGHTING. YOU GET THE POINT.
The 8 were teleported to the circle thingys, then the trial started.
EXISTY:
WE DIDNT DO CLUE HUNTING BECAUSE, SHIT, ITS LATE AS HELL.
The eight decided to make this trial short. (just like this chapter) They were tired, exhausted, and wanted to get on with their lives at this point.
FLOWER:
Her death was near a large tree, someone must've pushed her off on a tree branch.
TREE:
I also went to go to her body, but I don't remember what was beside her..
BOOK:
I've checked her body too. A rope was beside her, which is odd..?
FIREY:
Did she try bungee jumping with a rope or what? If she did, why would she choose night-
BLACK HOLE:
She wouldn't choose the night to go bungee jumping. Plus, the rope would break instantly.
LIGHTNING:
Is anyone even noticing that Pillow doesn't even look tired?
They stared at Pillow. She didn't even look that tired to start with.
PILLOW:
I stay up.
BOOK:
Hey Pin, was Pillow even in her cabin?
PIN:
I never saw her in our cabin honestly. She kind of went- missing.
LIGHTNING:
So then it might be Pillow!
TREE:
Hey! Hold on for a moment. We don't have proof if she did it or not.
PILLOW:
That's right! I could've went adventuring.
BLACK HOLE:
I have been wondering about the large tree around the lobby.
TREE:
You never decided to go up there?
BLACK HOLE:
I didn't want to.
A small silence was left, with a few whispers from the crowd. Before, Flower had gotten an idea.
FLOWER:
I think she might have gotten kidnapped before her death.
Everyone's curiousity spiked up from that theory.
FLOWER:
She must've been tied up with a rope and got dragged up to the tree.
PIN:
As far as I know, I think the rope was pretty long enough for a jewel shaped object.
BOOK:
I feel like the killer wouldn't be so specific. Maybe they just..
FIREY:
Maybe they wanted to kill someone that was well appreciated!
That was the moment Pillow might have been a little bit nervous. She was never nervous. Well, rarely nervous in fact.
LIGHTNING:
Pillow said she might have gone adventuring right? Then she must've climbed up that tree!
BLACK HOLE:
Just a question Pillow, do you have a killing intent?
Pillow thought about it. During her time up the large tree, she thought of killing someone when Naily was with her. But, she didn't have a reason to kill.
PILLOW:
Who knows? Maybe I do or don't!
PIN:
You're acting too suspicious Pillow.
BOOK:
It's weird seeing you indecisive.
BLACK HOLE:
How many suspects do we have?
TREE:
We had one. And we know who that is.
They all looked at Pillow, before she sighed.
PILLOW:
Go ahead. Maybe you'll find out someone too.
Everyone started to expect someone to be with Pillow during the kill. Naily started to be scared, thinking she was going to be killed with Pillow.
A camera was placed on the large tree in secret, and it played without Naily? Naily was practically not visible, even during the kill. You couldn't even notice Naily accidentally pushing her down.
And that's when it hit Naily. She remembered soemthing had happened as she hid in the leaves.
Naily had hid inside of the tree's leaves, she heard Pillow talking but as she was going to go down, fabric had fallen down to her and covered her completely which led to her getting blinded. She had accidentally fell, and pushed Ruby as she used her legs to hold herself into the small branch above her.
Naily had looked at Pillow, who had managed to find her amongst the crowd. She gave a thumbs up, which made Naily realize,
She didn't want Naily to be killed with her.
