✧Thiago✧

I've been running around in circles for almost half an hour. I needed to know if she was alright. Not that I cared about her but because I wouldn't be able to live without constantly feeling guilty. I watched how the doctor finally left her room and I walked over to it and knocked.

"Come in." she uttered weakly. I stepped into the room, an expression of guilt planted on my face. When I reached the bed, I sat on the empty spot, next to where she was lying. Her head was bandaged and she didn't look at me.

"Hey, I'm really sorry for what I did. I was acting very immature. I didn't mean to hurt you." I stated in a calm tone, feeling more guilty than ever. She only nodded her head in response, without even looking in my direction. "Leave, please." she stammered and I got up from the bed, exiting the room and closing the door behind me.

For the first time in years I apologized to someone. There's no way I just did this. Well, I did.

Pushing the thoughts aside, I walked to the entrance, when I bump into that guy from before. He seemed very overprotective towards her.

He marched up the stairs that lead to her room. Ignoring it I finally reached the door but stopped at the hearing of a male voice yelling.

Leandro Perez.

His yells echoed through the whole house. "These people need to see a therapist." I whispered to myself and walked out, getting into my car. The roads were pretty empty since it was very late. After a long ride of an hour I finally arrived. It was a park not many people knew about. This place was where I stayed when I needed time alone.

I lit up a cigarette while walking through the park when the bench came to my sight and I sat down. The silence calmed me, it made me forget about all of the problems I had. Like the disaster I had to deal with right now.

I bought an 18 year old girl for a million only to sell her for 3 million. My mother would be disappointed in me, but I was doing this because I had no other choice. Leandro thinks I'm going to marry her, but the truth? He doesn't know it.

At around 5 am I got a phone call from one of my men. "Sir, we caught Niko, we put him in the torturing basement." he stated calmly. "Okay, I'm coming. Tell everyone to be at my office by 8." I commanded.

3 hours later

When I gathered every single one of my men in my office, I started to explain to them. "Alara Perez, will be living here for a while with us. I don't want you to talk to her or even look at her. And if I see anyone talking or flirting with her, I swear on my life, I will make you regret it." I ordered. Every single one of them looked down on the floor, lowering their head.

"Am I clear?" I asked loudly making sure everyone hears. They all nod and with one word from me they all leave my office. The bodyguard walked out as well and closing the door behind him.

I took my phone to discuss the deal I made with Leandro. "Mr. Leandro, are you going to keep the promise or not?".

"Yes of course I will you can come take her today. Even right away if you want." he chuckled, speaking in a loud tone.

I hung up and stood up from my seat. The bodyguard saw me passing by him and followed me. "Get my car ready." I spoke and he nodded.

I got in the car and drive off to their house and arrived in just 40 minutes. I let him know I'm here and he stood in front of the house with Clara. or Mara. Whatever her name was. She walked towards me holding her suitcases, lowering her head. I felt my heart pound at the sight of her.
