Loki pov

"She is feeling better at the moment. But she still won't talk about the nightmare that she had last night." I said to father and mother.

"When she deems ready, she will tell us. But in due time, my son." Odin said. Honestly I thought that he would have me chained and held in a cell. But he didn't,  mostly because of mother and her charming ways. It was nice that he called me that though and in turn I say father, never wincing or cringing at the name.

"But father, what if she doesn't tell us at all? Then what will we do?" I asked getting worried.

He came over and put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "Then we will help her try." He smiled and let go.

"Don't worry brother. Aria has her reasons for being quiet." Thor said.

"What about Jacob? He is getting worried about her and won't leave her side." Natasha asked. Her face was one of worry and Barton was rubbing her back.

"That's true. They have such a strong connection to each other. I don't think that they can ever be separated for long." Bruce added his hand on his chin.

"We should bring them around the gardens to get some air. Loki, do you mind being with Aria? To see if she will talk at all?" Mother asked me and gave me that smile that I could never resist.

"Of course mother." I bowed and left the room with a small smile. I really hope she does talk. Its been 2 days without any words from her. I walked to my room that we share together after the nightmare happened, she never left the comfort. I knocked on the door softly to let her know that there is someone at the door.

"Come in." A soft voice called in from the room you could barely hear it.

I opened the door quietly and left it open in case she did come with me. She was laying on the bed with the covers over her and facing the wall across from her.

"Mother said that if you are up for it, we are going for a walk around the gardens. I know you would love to have some fresh air and look at the flowers." I insisted while rubbing her back.

She looked at me with curious eyes to see if I was serious. Then she nodded and started to sit up. I helped her up and turned around for her to get dressed and ready for the walk outside. Hopefully this will get her to at least smile. I thought as she took my hand and intertwined with mine. I lead her to the archway which lead to the gardens. The fresh air was having a good affect on her mood but she didn't smile her real smile.

The day was sunny with barely any clouds in the sky. Warm but neither hot nor cold. Just perfect. Currently I was sitting down my legs crossing at the ankles and Aria had her head in my lap. My hands were playing with her hair. Her eyes were closed in peace. Thor found us and sat at the other side of me. I laid my head on his shoulder and continued to play with her hair.

"How is she?" He asked while his cheek was on my head.

"Her mood has brightened but only by a little bit." I said solemnly.

"Don't worry brother. She will tell us when the time comes. I promise." He assured me.

"I'll take that promise into account." The silence that followed was comfortable and peaceful. Everyone was just relaxed in the sun and there was no worry of anything attacking. (It has happened before. Some people weren't happy when they found out about me and the fact that there was no punishment for everything that I have done.)

". . . Loki?" A soft voice called almost unheard if there was noise surrounding us.

"Love?" I asked surprised looking down. I saw blue eyes with hints of brown at the end of the irises. Fear and the need of safety translating into mine.
