33 Shattered no more

9 2 9

Too long this has gone on,
Too long have I endured.
No more will I sit back,
Actions are returned.

Pieces of the shattered glass I gather,
Rearranging them into armour.
In front of them I will stand,
Until the day you die at your own hand.

Life is known to be a full circle,
What goes up must return to Earth.
Our emotions were burned,
And we salvaged ourselves in this hearth.

Alone we found peace,
Together we grew stronger,
From dismay we found release,
Bound by condescending ways we are no longer.

Today we stand in the light of dawn,
Free and alive.
For we are no longer forlorn.
And together for a a new we shall strive.
