60 Short Poem 6: Lies

17 3 4

Take a look around you,
And tell me just what you see.
There isn't anything true,
Everyone is hiding from 'me'.

No, not me, now don't be silly,
Me, the name one calls oneself.
You'll see it if you really look properly,
It's not something you can learn off the bookshelf.

People claim to do one thing,
But they do something else.
I only see the idiocy it can bring,
From sharing something false.

What does one do,
With every word said that dies.
When everything around you,
Is nothing but their lies?
