Mrs Myung raised an eyebrow as she saw the two boys run down the stairs, having a conversation between each other as they walked to the front door. "And where are you two off to?"

"Skate park," Jaehyun answered as he sat on the floor beside Sanghyeok to pull his shoes on. "I'll buy the stuff when we come back because we won't be long. Yongguk hyung just has two or so tasks for me to do, and then I'll be done for the day."

"Sanghyeokie, please tell your parents that you're no longer here at our home so that they know where you are," Mrs Myung hummed as she paged through her magazine. "I know they're not very fun, but that's probably why you have to tell them."

"I already told my mother that I'll be head to the skate park for the day," Sanghyeok answered as he stood up.

"He's sleeping over again tonight," Jaehyun said as he stood up as well. "We're gonna go on a date today, so I'd appreciate it if you only called for emergencies."

"H-huh?! Date?!"

Jaehyun laughed as Sanghyeok took his hand, waving to Jaehyun's mother as they left the house. "See you this evening, Miss Mom!"

"Are you two really going on a date?!"

"Bye-bye!"

Jaehyun still felt overexcited as he glanced down at his hands, fingers laced with the boy beside him. Sanghyeok didn't think too much of it, casually scrolling on his phone, but Jaehyun could feel his excitement rising every time he glanced down at their interlocked hands. Even something as simple as holding hands didn't fail to make Jaehyun happy.

"Stop looking at our hands like that."

"Do you know how much I like you, Sanghyeok?"

"I have a vague idea," Sanghyeok chuckled as he looked up at Jaehyun from his phone. "You're too cute. Do you like holding hands?"

"I do, yes," Jaehyun answered, lifting their interlocked hands to kiss Sanghyeok's knuckles. The two walked into the park together, waving their hands to their group of friends. Sungho paused, eyes locked on their hands in growing shock. "Hi, Sungho!"

"What the hell going on over here?!"

Dongmin gave a casual chuckle as he crossed his arms over his chest. "By some miracle, Jaehyun hyung convinced Sanghyeok hyung to be his boyfriend."

"Oh yeah, he wasn't here yesterday," Donghyun hummed, glancing up at Sungho. "They're dating."

"Yeah, I can see that!" Sungho exclaimed. "You! Myung Jaehyun! Explain yourself!"

"Explain what?" Jaehyun smiled brightly as he held up his and Sanghyeok's hands. "Explain this?"

"Yes!" Despite his confusion, Sungho couldn't help but smile. "What changed your mind, Sanghyeok-ah?"

The blonde seemed to be in thought for a moment before he answered the other. "He's just an idiot in love."

Sungho blinked quietly in confusion as Jaehyun and Sanghyeok had another moment to themselves, glancing at one another as if they fell in love further with every second that passed. While a part of him wanted to gag and call their romance 'gross', he couldn't help but smile. Something inside Sungho waited for those particular two to finally get together.

Jaehyun eventually ran off due to Yongguk calling him over to do something, leaving Sanghyeok with his three friends and Dongmin's boyfriend. With Jaehyun out of the picture, Sungho expressed more excitement. "Sanghyeok, this is great! I didn't think that you would actually get together with that loser."

"I didn't think so either, yet here we are," Sanghyeok chuckled, glancing over at the counter where Jaehyun stood. "He's so cute, isn't he? I could kiss his cheeks all day."

"Jaehyun, of all people, got a boyfriend," Donghyun hummed, crossing his arms against the table. "Unfair. I want a partner."

Dongmin laughed as he looked at the boy standing beside him. "Well, Sungho's single."

"... pass."

"Shut up, Donghyun!" Sungho glared. "This isn't about you, anyway — it's about Sanghyeok and his apparent relationship with Jaehyun. What have you two done so far? Did you kiss him? Did you sleep in the same bed as him? Well, you did that anyway as friends, but does it feel different now? Did you... do that...?"

"They did," Dongmin interjected quickly before Sanghyeok could respond. "They slept together and did unspeakable things. He couldn't stop talking about how Jaehyun held him close a—"

"Shut up, stop lying!" Sanghyeok exclaimed, attempting to cover Dongmin's mouth. "Jaehyun and I won't be doing stuff like that any time soon, okay?! There's no reason for us to do stuff like that right now."

"Why not?" Donghyun asked. "You're both grown-ups."

Sanghyeok scoffed slightly as he crossed his arms. "Even if we did want to do stuff like that, the timing will never be right. We both live with our parents, so it doesn't feel right, personally. I don't want to do stuff like that right now, anyway — we've only been together for 3 days so far."

"Things like that happen naturally, anyway," Sungho shrugged. "But I'm sure that now you've been dating, something must've happened, right? Come on, don't be shy."

"Nothing happened, I swear," Sanghyeok laughed. "If anything happens, I'll be sure to let you know first thing, Sungho-ya."

"You know what, it's fine. Don't let me know — spare me the details," Sungho said with a playful scoff. "In any case, congrats on the new relationship. You're both a little full of shit, so of course you got along well enough to start dating."

"I just need to keep it hidden from my parents for as long as possible," Sanghyeok sighed, putting his head to Dongmin's shoulder. "It's a little sad, but what else can I do? I really like him and even if it's risky being with him, I have to... love him. Jaehyun needs my love — after all, he doesn't think about his feelings. He's a sweetheart, and to reject him any further will hurt him."

"But what if your dad finds out?" Sungho asked, his tone suddenly becoming worried. "You'll be okay... right?"

"We'll be fine. He'd probably yell at me and lock me in my room, but I'll just sneak out to Jaehyun," Sanghyeok shrugged, sitting up again. "Mrs Mom said that she'd take me in if things ever went south because they know the problems I have at home."

"Well, at least you have that going," Dongmin hummed. "Where's your boyfriend? I need to rent a board for the afternoon."
