I highly suggest reading from the beginning since the backstory will help the plot make sense. The first three chapters are backstory and in the fourth chapter is where you get introduced to the main characters.
I write a lot, so most chapters will have around1500-2500 words.
For those who want to know, Alastor comes in chapter 4 (briefly introduced) but is fully in chapter 5.

You are Y/N and had previously sold your soul to get off the terrible streets, but now that your every action is monitored and controlled by an estate owner.
