Chapter 18 - Family Time

Next Day :

Elliot fell asleep on the couch while waiting for Marco to return. Suddenly he wakes up from the sound of a car. He stands up and about to leave the room when he sees Marco coming towards him. His smile disappears seeing a small bandage on Marco's forehead. "Marco! What happened to you? Are you okay?" he asks immediately. Marco looks at him and kisses his cheeks. "I'm fine, it was just a small accident." he replies. "Accident?" Elliot eyes fills with water. "No.. tell me about it." he asks. Marco holds his hands and helps him to sit on the bed, then he sits next to him. "Relax baby, I'm totally fine. Actually what happened is, I was sitting in the car when suddenly a car came from the side and just hit me. The good thing is that my car is very strong so there was not much damage happened. But yeah there was a strong shock and I got a slight injury in my forehead that's it."

Elliot touches the bandage and hugs him tightly. "Don't worry baby, that guy is already chilling in the jail. I'm fine okay." Marco says. Elliot nods, Edward's threats starts playing inside his mind. "By the way El, we have the doctor's appointment. So go and get ready." Marco says while rubbing his shoulders. "I think first you need to rest Marco. We can skip the appointment for today." Elliot says. "No. Definitely not. This is more important than me okay? Go and get ready." Marco orders. Elliot obeys, he goes to the bathroom for shower. Later, Marco helps him to choose the outfit to wear. Elliot wears the grey colour sweatshirt and black trousers and Marco wears white shirt and blue jeans. They kisses each other before going to the hospital.

In the Hospital:

Marco gets off of the car and helps Elliot to get out of the car. Sebastian and Antony are with them for their security. Doctor Ira welcomes them and guides them to the examine room. "So Elliot, are you excited to see your baby?" Ira asks. "Yes doctor." Elliot replies. Suddenly Marco's phone rings. "Uh, I'm sorry Elliot but I really need to take this call. You guys can continue I'll be just back." he says and walks out of the room. "Sebastian and Antony, both of you stay with him." Elliot orders and both the guards obeys.

Doctor Ira slowly lifts his sweatshirt a bit. She applies some liquid on his belly and looks at the monitor. A few seconds later the baby appears on the screen. "Look here, this is your baby. Having a great time huh." Ira teases. "Oh my God. It's so tiny." Elliot says with teary eyes. After the exam, the doctor wipes the liquid from his belly and helps him to sit. Ira writes something on a paper and puts it on an envelope. "Open this after reaching home okay?" she says and picks up some files. Elliot takes the envelope, he wonders what might be in this envelope.

"Okay so before you guys leave, I want both of the parents' signature here." Ira handovers him some papers. Elliot signs on it. "Marco will come soon, then you can get his signature." he says. Ira smiles and walks towards the hallway. "The doctor wants the signatures of the child's biological parents, not some random person!" A voice comes from the back. Elliot turns around and sees Edward standing at the gate. "What are you doing here?" he shouts. "Come on sweetie, today is your big day, how can I miss it?" Edward teases. He slowly comes near to him. "Stay away from me! I said STAY AWAY!!!!" Elliot shouts again. Edward laughs like a monster. "You have no right to be in here. You are a disgusting person. Get out from here!!!" Elliot yells. "I won't, shout as much as you can sweetheart, I'm not going anywhere."

Elliot climbs down of the bed and tries to runaway but Edward blocks his way. He then grabs Elliot's hair and laughs. Elliot tries to release the grip but fails. "Listen to me carefully, I will not let you belong to anyone else in this life! I have full authority over you and this child! And you know what? Usually I forget people after a one night stand, but you are something I can't forget." Edward growls. "Leave me please it hurts." Elliot begs. Seeing him so helpless Edward laughs and releases the grip. "By the way, the biological father of this child is still alive and in front of you. However, if you get someone else to sign any government documents, it would be illegal, isn't it?" he says.

"It is better if you don't talk about legal and illegal things. Because if I decide to do something legal, then my dear your entire family will be destroyed!" Marco enters the room. Elliot runs towards him and hugs him. Marco kisses on his hair and holds his hand. Ira enters and handovers him the same papers. Marco signs on it and gives a death stare to Edward. "It will be better if you stay in your limits. Otherwise God knows what I would do with you! This is the first and the last warning." he threatens him.
"I know your secret Marco, do you want me to disclose that? How does your boy toy feel after that?" Edward whispers. Marco rolls his eyes and takes Elliot's hand and walks away from the room. They gets up in the car and leaves the hospital.

In the Mansion:

Elliot is sitting on the swing at the garden, he still didn't opened the envelope. Marco is in his office room working on the laptop. Maya comes to visit them. She sits next to Elliot and comforts him. "I know what are you thinking. Don't worry, we all are with you Elliot. No need to think about that nonsense creature. He can't do anything." she assures. "You get angry seeing me, right?" he asks. "What? What are you saying?" Maya looks at him. "Yes mum, don't you think your son has changed after I came into his life? When I was not here he was very happy, calm and polite. I have spoiled everything by coming, right?" Elliot starts crying.

"Shut up Elliot, stop blaming yourself for everything! This is not right. You didn't spoiled anything my baby. You made my son's life better than before. He loves you so much, I love you so much. So, please don't say like this again. You got me?" Maya confronts him. "I'm sorry." Elliot apologies. "It's okay. However, this change in Marco is not recent. He had changed a lot since then. The way you see him getting so angry now, he was more like this even before you came. But the fact is, he has improved a lot since he fell in love with you." Maya says.

Elliot silently listens her. "Marco is not a bad person or an angry person. It's just that the pain inside him comes out in the form of anger. You can say he is an eccedentesiast!" Maya explains. "You never told why you made him CEO at such a young age?" Elliot asks. "Because of Daniel. The day Marco brought you to our house, I overheard Daniel and Robert's talking. I was afraid that he might take over the buisness, so I took this decision immediately." Maya replies. "Anyways, you must so tired go and take rest." she says looking at the envelope. Elliot smiles and heads towards the bedroom.

He enters the room and finds Marco is already waiting for him. He sits next to him and show him the envelope. "Should I open this?" he asks. "Sure. I just can't wait now." Marco says immediately. Elliot smiles and opens the envelope. Their eyes fills with tears seeing the pictures of the baby. "Our baby is so tiny isn't it?" Elliot says. "Yeah, our tiny miny baby. Wait there's something else." Marco takes out a note and reads.
"Hi Papa Hi Dad, I'm your boy." They gasps seeing that. "Oh my.. I- it's a boy!" Marco jumps off of the bed. "We are having a baby boy!!!" he shouts out of excitement. He picks up Elliot and starts spinning vigorously. "Oh shit, stop Marco! My head is spinning stop!" Elliot shouts. "Oh uh.. sorry baby. I was too excited!" Marco helps him to sit and kisses him.

"Sorry to disturb you but congratulations." Maya walks in. Marco and Elliot immediately breaks the kiss and looks away from each other. "I thought I would never be able to become a grandmother. But see, somehow God heard me. I'm so happy for you both." she wipes her tears. Marco and Elliot hugs her. "I don't care whatever you say, it is my responsibility to spoil your son." Maya laughs. "Obviously ma, after all he is your grandson. And I'm sure he'll be so lucky to have a cool and hot grandma like you." Marco says. Maya pats his shoulder and laughs. "Ouch!" Elliot places his hands on his belly. "I think it just kicked! Oh shit again!" Marco and Maya both places their hands on his belly "Hi baby, what's up?" Marco whispers. Baby kicks again.

"I think baby is so excited to come out." Maya says. "Even we can't wait!!" Marco shouts. They stands up and hugs Elliot. "Anyways, you guys and go and take some rest. I'll be back soon after showing a little bit of my attitude to that angry clients from London." Marco says. "Just don't kill them okay?" Maya teases. Elliot laughs. Marco leaves for office while Maya and Elliot spends some quality time together.
