Chapter 59 : The Ring

In India (early morning) :

Everyone has reached the airport early in the morning to go back to their home. The rain has stopped and the weather is very clear now. Riya is getting emotional remembering her mother. Elliot comes and hugs her. "It's okay you can come back here anytime you want okay?" he comforts her. Riya wipes her tears and smiles at him. In the meantime, Atharv, David and Marco are busy discussing something with someone in the call. Elliot gets curious so he goes to check.

"What happened?" he asks. Marco cuts the call. "El uhm.. actually we have to go to Dubai." he replies. "Why suddenly?" Elliot asks. "Actually there is going to be a diamond auction tonight and the king specially invited you to attend the auction." David replies. "So, are we going then?" Elliot looks at Marco. "Yeah sadly.." Marco replies. Elliot nods. "Okay then, we are going back home on this flight now. You guys please be careful and do take care of each other." Atharv says. He holds Riya's hand and enters the flight with David and other guards. Marco, Elliot stays there with Antony and Sebastian. They books the Dubai's flight and waits for it.

"Isn't it so strange?" Elliot asks sipping the coffee. "What?" Marco looks at him. Elliot puts the cup on the table. "I mean, why the King invited me only for the auction and not you? What do you think?" he asks. Marco doesn't answer but this question clicks on his mind. "We have to be very careful there." he says. Elliot nods and they finishes their breakfast. They enters the plane and takes their seats in the buisness class.

In the plane:

Elliot is sitting on the window seat and busy reading a book while Marco is giving instructions to his bodyguards to stay alert at the auction. "I don't know what's going on in their minds, so our only job will be to protect Elliot. Is that clear?" he asks. "Yes sir." they reply. He comes back to his seat and rests his head on Elliot's shoulder. Elliot smiles and continues reading the book.

In Dubai :

After five hours of long flight they finally reaches at Abu Dhabi. Elliot's eyes widens as soon as they comes out of the airport. The Dubai King as well as Daniel is also there to welcome them. "Welcome to Dubai my dear. I'm so happy that you accepted my invitation." the King greets him. "My pleasure sir." Elliot replies. "Come on let me take you to the palace." the King says. "Thank you, you go, we will follow you." Marco comes forward. The King nods and starts walking towards his car. "Welcome to Dubai Elliot. There's so many things are waiting for you inside." Daniel says. His stare is enough to scare anyone. He looks at Marco and walks away. Marco holds Elliot's hand tightly and follows them.

In the palace:

"Welcome to my palace everyone the auction is about to start in an hour." the King announces. There are so many people present for the auction. Daniel comes and stands in front of Elliot. "Before the auction starts, let me show you the new collection, please come with me." he insists. Elliot looks at Marco. "Don't worry, I'm not going to kidnap you my dear." Daniel says. "Your bodyguards can also come to watch." he looks at Marco. Elliot holds Marco's hand and agrees to go.

Daniel takes them inside a hall where all the new diamond collection is there. Marco is silently watching Daniel's every movements. Suddenly Elliot stops in front of a box and looks at it. There's a very beautiful diamond ring in there. He smile seeing the beauty of it. Marco and Daniel both notices the spark in his eyes. "Shall we go now baby? The auction is about to start." Marco asks. "Yeah sure." Elliot replies. He looks back at the ring and then leaves.
