Part 4 Before Y/N

6 months ago before Y/N was activated.

Recording 1...

Tails perks up realizing the camera is recording. He clears his throat.

"Hello, whoever watches this recording, I've moved on from simple inventions to...

He pulls a sheet off of an exoskeleton of a robot.

Presenting my latest creation, the Robot Mobian fox, Model Y/N! This robotic companion is designed to assist me in various tasks and adventures, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and programming to enhance their capabilities.

Y/N has been programmed to adapt and learn from their surroundings, making them an invaluable asset in any situation. With a focus on loyalty, trustworthiness, and reliability, Y/N is sure to become an integral part of my team.

Several weeks later...

"I've managed to scavenge enough badnik scrap to complete the look of the Model. Y/N is finally taking shape, and I couldn't be more excited to see them come to life. With each new component and programming update.

I've also been working on installing a voice box for Y/N so that they can communicate more easily. It's been a challenging process, but I know that once it's done, Y/N will be able to express themselves and interact with others in a more meaningful way.

I can't wait to see how Y/N continues to grow and evolve as we embark on new adventures together. They truly are a special creation, and I'm grateful to have them by my side.

A few days before Y/N's activation...

Tails sits in his workshop, putting the finishing touches on Y/N's design. He looks at the robotic fox with a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that they will soon be ready to join him on their journey.

"Y/N's voice box still needs some adjustments, and I want to make sure that they are fully functional before their activation. I know that communication will be key in our partnership, and I want to ensure that Y/N can express themselves effectively."

I can't wait to see the look on Y/N's face when they wake up for the first time. It will be a momentous occasion, and I'm looking forward to all the adventures and challenges that lie ahead for us."

4 days before activation.

Tails has bags under his eyes.

"Uhg, the memory software got corrupted, and the voice box is still broken, they will still function but I'm gonna have to teach them everything."

"I've been working tirelessly to fix these issues, staying up late into the night to ensure that Y/N is ready for activation. Despite the setbacks, I'm determined to make sure that Y/N has a smooth start to their new life with me.

I know that there will be challenges ahead, but I'm prepared to face them head-on with Y/N by my side. They may not be perfect, but they are my creation, and I will do everything in my power to help them succeed."

Recording 5...

2 days before success.

Tails has a serious face; he's sitting at his desk pressing buttons.

"I shall begin the activation, hopefully this works." 

With a deep breath, Tails presses the activation button, watching as lines of code scroll across the screen. He holds his breath, waiting for the moment when Y/N would finally come to life.

Y/N begins to shake before erupting into sparks and a small fire. Tails jumps back in shock, quickly grabbing a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. He frantically works to cool down Y/N's systems and prevent any further damage, his heart pounding with worry.

After a few tense moments, the fire is extinguished, and Y/N's systems begin to stabilize. Tails lets out a sigh of relief, grateful that he was able to prevent any major damage to his creation.

"I'll just blow out the candles next time," he mutters to himself, making a mental note to be more cautious during future activations.

Recording 6...

The day of success.

Tails looks confident, a determined expression on his face.

"Today is the day, Y/N will finally activate successfully. I've double-checked all the systems and made sure that everything is in working order. I know that with my help and guidance, Y/N will be able to overcome any challenges that come their way.

I can't wait to see Y/N come to life and begin our adventures together. This is just the beginning of a great journey, and I'm excited to see how Y/N grows and develops as my companion."

With a deep breath, Tails presses the activation button once more, watching as Y/N's systems come online and their robotic form stirs to life. He smiles with pride and excitement, knowing that this was just the start of a new chapter in their journey.
