9) nates birthday

today is nate's birthday! so of course i had to spoil him.

i went to walmart to get his gifts.

i first went and got him a million pairs of nike socks. and some other shirts and shorts id think he would like.

then i went into the candy aisle and grabbed m&ms, twix, reese's, snickers, and a whole bunch of other chocolates.

then i went into the fabric sections and grabbed 4 cute matching ones. so we can make those throw tie blankets.

finally, i went into the stuffed animal aisle and grabbed a huge deer stuffy.

oh i also got some ingredients to make a special dinner and some dessert!

i got back to my house and started to cook a small pan of lasagna.

once the food was done, i laid out his gifts on my couch and made it look all pretty. i topped it off with a homemade card i wrote him.

nate drives over to my house and knocks at the door.

i open the door and say, "happy birthday!"

"thank you." he replies, walking inside.

"this is all for you." i say, pointing to my couch.

"all for me? thank you."

he goes over and looks at everything. he reads the card and smiles.

"thank you baby." he says, placing a kiss on my lips.

"what's that smell..?" he asks.

"you're favorite."

"lasagna?"

"yes!"

we go into my kitchen and grab a serving of lasagna, with a roll on the side.

"mmm, this is really good." he mumbles with a stuffed mouth.

we finish eating and i let nate pick the movie for us to watch. he chose star wars.

i grabbed a bunch of blankets and we laid them all over the couch to make it comfortable.

"before we start the movie, how about some sundaes?" i ask.

"oooh yes!"

we walk back into my kitchen and i get 2 bowls and some neapolitan ice cream.

we add a bunch of toppings, and go back on the blanket filled couch.

we start the movie and nate grazes my hand.

we interlock our fingers.

"happy birthday, nathan."

"thank you. i love you." he says.

"i love you too."

we finish the movie and spend the rest of the night just chilling.
