HAYDEN'S POV

Immediately stopping at the light ahead which was red,
Passing time by Enjoying and humming the lyrics of the song playing on
the radio.

I put my foot on the gas when the light ahead changed back to green.

I was enjoying my quiet and peaceful ride back from the grocery store.

I heard my phone ringing.
I saw Sofia's name boldly written on the screen of my phone.

Okay,
how was I going to do this?
I looked at the road and my phone, and then quickly reached for it
answering Sofia's call.

I wasn't paying attention to the road,
And didn't notice the girl right in front of me.

Everything happened so fast that I couldn't stop the car on time,
And I ran her over.

Her body immediately flew over my car due to the impact.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, f**k." I cured out loud my fear growing by the
minutes, as I watched her deadly stiff body from the side mirror.

"What have I done?" I groan.

"Am going to prison" A shiver ran down my spine just thinking about it.

"Hello Hayden,
who's going to prison"
Sofia's voice sounded worried.
I forgot I didn't end the call.

"Nobody is going to prison...umm, I just have to deal with some things" I lied.

Am defiantly going to prison for murder.

I took slow step to the girl I ran over.

"Hayd--"I interrupted her growing anxious about the barely alive-looking girl,

"Sofia I promise I'm fine" I lied.
I'm freaking out.

"I Miss you already" she confessed.

"I've only been gone for a day or two" Talking to her made me feel a little bit better.

"I better go now" I had a
pained smile on my face.

This might be my last call before the cops Lock me up.

"I know, but it feels weird not having you around honey" She stated sounding a bit sad.

"I know, Sofia I'll call you back" I spoke quickly ending the call.

I knelt on the ground beside her body and then gave it a little push,
To see if I could get a response from her.
