Few Days Later...

"Man I swear to god if I see this women on the TV screen one more fucking time." Roxx says as Taylor swift appears on the Tv. "This is supposed to be the superbowl! Fuck they keep showing her ass for?"

Me and all the other guys laughed at this nigga, but he was right. I was tired of seeing her ass too.

We all decided to come to the bar and watch the superbowl here. It was the end of 3rd quarter and it cut to commercial break.

"Man you are stupid!" Chubbs slaps Roxx back laughing.

"Nah, I'm just tired of seeing her!"

"I don't care about any of that! I just need my parlay to hit!" I said looking down at my phone. I had betted on stake that the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl.

"You and this betting shit man," Baka smacks his lips looking around the bar. "Aye," He hits my shoulder. "That's your lady ain't it? The waiter over there,"

I followed his gaze to the booth where the Ashley was seated with a group of people, presumably her friends. It dawned on me that she was indeed the same woman I had been eyeing a few days ago. Despite my surprise, I couldn't help but smile inwardly, knowing that I had her number now, and we had been texting nonstop since then. Seeing her here added an unexpected twist to the day, but it was a pleasant one.

"Why y'all niggas eyeing them people over there?"

"That's AG's new girl. The one with the oversized 49ers jersey on. Damn she a 49ers fan too?"

"You lying! I thought this niggas said he was gonna focus on himself and kids? Knew that shit was a lie," Roxx spoke up getting a chuckle from the rest of the guys and I just shook my head.

"Here y'all go, on my dick again. I can't have any female friends?"

"Hey," Chubbs shrugged his shoulders. "I ain't judging you at all fam."

"Yea, go ahead and get you some pussy nigga."

"Y'all stupid man. I'm about to go holla at her though."

With determination pulsing through me, I rose from my seat, navigating through the crowd toward Ashley's booth. As I approached, my heartbeat quickened, mingling with the lively rhythm of the surrounding chatter and laughter. The last time I felt like this is when I approached Mariah at the club.

I couldn't help but muster the courage to speak up. "I didn't know you were gonna be here," I admitted, my hands finding refuge in my pockets. I offered a nod toward the other people in the booth, who seemed to be eyeing me down. Despite the slight tension in the air, I focused on Ashley, eager to hear her response and hoping to extend our moment together.

With a sheepish grin, I continued, "It's a pleasant surprise though." I shifted slightly, feeling the weight of their curious gazes. "Are these your friends?" I asked, trying to break the ice with a gesture towards the group in the booth. Despite the subtle tension, I remained focused on Ashley, eager to maintain our connection amidst the scrutiny of her companions.
