Naruto

I heard my alarm clock go out. Shoot! I'm late!

I dashed out the bed and got ready at lightning speed.

I flew down the stairs and grabbed the toast waiting on the table.

"NARU-" "Thanks pervy sage!" I grinned, and sprinted out the door.

I stumbled into my classroom just in time - the bell rang a second after I got in.

"Dobe. Today as well?" asked Sasuke in his usual monotone voice.

"Shuddup teme," I seethed.

I threw the backpack onto my desk and plopped into my chair.

I then realized something was missing.

"Your lunchbox as well? God, you are stupid."

I groaned.

I heard a small giggle and looked out the corner of my eye.

Hinata kept her hands to her mouth and smiled.

She then noticed I was watching, and looked away.

I tilted my head in confusion, but decided to ignore it.

"Oh, hey Sakura!" I exclaimed, looking toward her.

"Naruto-baka" she sighed, "Same time today as well." I grinned sheepishly.

I sat down, and Kakashi-sensei came in seconds later.

"I see you're late again," stated Ino. The class let out small giggles.

He sighed, and moved on to the lesson. I found it boring as heck, so I decided to doze off to sleep.

Hinata

I glanced at Naruto-kun from time to time. I blushed a bit.

He seemed so adorable with his sleeping face.

"Looking at him again?" asked Ino, nudging me.

I flinched and squirmed in my seat.

"N-No," I whispered.

She sighed. "You do know you will have to confess to him when the time comes. Otherwise, someone might take him."

I looked down and nodded. I wasn't able to pay attention to the rest of the lesson after that

The bell rang, and I walked into the hallways.

I caught a glimpse of Naruto-kun. He grinned while chatting to Sasuke.

A small smile came on my face, and I looked down.

I thought about what Ino said.

Soon, I thought. Soon I will confess to him.

Naruto

As I walked home, I thought about when I saw Hinata giggling.

For some reason, she looked so... cute.

I didn't know what was going on with me.

I shook my head. No, I like Sakura-chan, I thought.

I opened the door to see pervy sage snoring on the counter.

You've got yourself tangled into work again, old man, I thought, and sighed.

I went up the stairs to my room, and heard my phone beep inside my pocket. I checked it.

Hey Naruto, wanna come with us to the mall on Saturday at noon?

I saw what Ino messaged me.

Sure. I responded

I then shoved the phone into my pocket and plopped onto my messy bed.

I was out within seconds.
