Here's some silliness again!

Later that evening:

Vaidehi and Raghuveer had woken from their nap, and Vaidehi stepped out of the bathroom after freshening up to see Veer scowling at his phone. "Kaha hain woh chudail ladki? Mujhse panga legi woh?" "Kya hua, aap itne gusse mein kyun hain?" "Nothing, jaan, don't worry about it." "What do you mean 'don't worry about it'? I'll only worry more if you don't tell me." When Veer stayed silent, Vaidehi plopped onto the couch and crossed her arms in a sulk.

"You call me your wife, your life partner, but you can't even share your worries with me? Mujhe laga ki aap jaisa koi meri zindagi mein aaye, toh baat ban jayega. Lekin aap baat hi nahi kar rahe hain, toh kaisa ban jayega baat?" Veer laughed at that and kneeled in front of her, holding her hands in his. "Ab madam ki nakhre bhi dekhne ka mauka mila hain mujhe!" Vaidehi raised a brow imperiously. "Nakhre dikhaoon aapko?" "Jo bhi chahe dikhao, love, I'll never say no."

"Why does everything you say sound like you're flirting with me?" Veer winked, "Because I am." "And you're also trying to distract me." "It isn't working?" She shook her head, smiling. "Fine, I'll show you, but first, promise me you won't get mad, baby." "Is it something I should be mad about?" "Of course not!" Vaidehi shook her head and looked at him as if it was the most obvious thing. "Then why would you worry about me getting mad? Ok, show me now."

Veer stood and handed her his phone, opened to the message Akshu had sent him. "Bhai, agar iss blockbuster photo ko family ke saamne nahi aana hain, toh pichle baar aap Bhabhi ke 'doosre album' ke liye mujhe jitna diya, usse double chahiye." Vaidehi was secretly squealing with excitement that her plan was working, but now she needed to execute the final step. She let her jaw drop open in shock as she read the message. She didn't need to try too hard, because simply looking at the picture again brought a blush to her cheeks.

"Akshu ne yeh pic kaise li thi? Aap kal door ko lock bhi nahi kiya?" This time, Veer raised his brows at her and smirked. "Sweetheart, I was a bit preoccupied." Vaidehi's blush deepened, but she still glared at him. "Aap bohot bure hain! Yeh kaise hone diya aapne? Agar Akshu ne sach mein sab ko dikhayi tho?" Vaidehi had stepped across the room as she spoke, so Veer walked closer and wrapped his arms around her. "You're right, jaana, such a gorgeous sight should only be for my eyes." He kissed her cheek. "Stop it," she whispered, forcing herself not to melt into him.

"Don't worry, baby, she won't show anyone. Par mujhe dhamkane ki himmat kaha se aayi uss ladki mein?" "Aur kaha se aayegi? Aapki hi behen hain. But what do you mean she won't show it to anyone?" Veer grumbled at her first statement, unable to refute it. "She won't actually mess with me, darling, she's just playing." Vaidehi widened her eyes in horror. "No, please, don't just leave it up to her like that." Veer opened his mouth to reassure her, but Vaidehi stepped away and looked at him with determination. "Can you imagine how horrible it would be if everyone saw? And she's our sister, not some random outsider, just give her the amount. Actually, that's your punishment. It was because of your mistake that she has this picture in the first place."

She crossed her arms, pouting, and let a tear slip out of her eye. Veer's heart melted immediately, he just couldn't see her cry. And he didn't really mind about the money; he had given his baby sister far more expensive gifts in the past. He simply didn't want this type of behavior to be encouraged. But for this time, he could let it slide, and lecture his sister later. "Nahi meri jaan, don't cry. Don't waste your precious tears. See, I'm transferring the amount right now, and I promise, I won't let her do anything like this again."

Vaidehi allowed herself to be bundled close to him again. "Thank you, and I'm sorry." "Sorry kyun, love?" "For making you pay Akshu, for crying, for bothering you." Truly, Vaidehi was feeling a bit guilty for pulling the stunt she did. "Sweetheart, this is nothing. You simply have to order me, and I'd put the whole world at your feet." Vaidehi placed a finger on his lips, then removed it. "I don't want the whole world, I just need my little world, with all of you." After a moment, she remembered a detail that had slipped her mind. "Main aapse ek sawaal puch sakti hoon?" "Hmm jaana, pucho."

"Akshu konsi dusre album ki baare mein message ki thi?" Vaidehi was seeing Raghuveer Malhotra looking hesitant, and maybe even a little embarrassed, for the first time. "Woh uh...humari shaadi mein woh chup chup ke photos li thi. Aur kuch hafte pehle, mujhe dikha rahi thi. Zyaada tar, tumhari hi photos the, so I asked her to give them to me. And she told me that I'd have to pay for the photography services, so I did." "Oh..." Vaidehi didn't how to respond, such moments always made her tongue-tied from shyness. But, the emotions in her eyes couldn't be veiled. Veer leaned in kissing her tenderly, leisurely. "I love you," he whispered.
