Letters || Present au

Just an update rq, this will prob be split up into a few different parts, so if you like it, maybe give me some ideas as to what to put in the letters :3 Hope you enjoy it! :]

3rd person/following chuuya POV. (XD)

Chuuya had gone on a mission that day. He was exhausted. As he opened the front door, and came inside, he saw a little piece of paper tucked into the hook when he went to hang his coat and hat. He grabbed it carefully, and opened the letter. Chuuya read it, and not even half way through, he could already guess who the letter was from. The letter read:

Dear Chibi,

I'd like to say, before you throw this away, since you probably already know who this is from, please read the rest of this letter.

TheRe are mOre letters arOund your house :] Each one will tell you some kind oF hinT as to where anOther one is. There are numbers on the back of all these letters. This one says 1, since I knew you'd come here first. If you understand the clue correctly, then you'll find a letter with the number 2. Find them all, and get a small prize :3 This will continue every day till you have all the prizes. Once you have all of the prizes, you can put them together, to hoPefully find out where I want you to go for the ultimate, final, grand prize! >:]

Chuuya sighed, and read it again, looking at the highlighted and capitalized letters. This idiot was asking me to go to the rooftop... Of my house... But I don't actually really have an accessible rooftop... Chuuya sighed again, and hung his coat and hat, changed, and climbed into his bed.

"This idiot really wants me to float up to the roof my house for a stupid letter? What a waste of time."

Chuuya sat there in silence for a while.

"Ugh, fine I'll go get it."

Chuuya got out of bed, went back outside, and floated up there. Once he got to the top, he saw a little letter, with a little candy sitting on top to keep it from flying away in the wind. It was a little packet of m&Ms. Chuuya smiled, and walked over to the letter, picking it up, and stuffing the m&Ms in his pocket. He picked up the letter, and this one read:

Dear Chibi,

Well done, Chibi! You fout the clue! :] That means you actually pay attention to what I say! Anyways, hope you understand this.

Actually nevermind I'm getting too tired to write clues. How do murderers do it so well? Or the people who make treasure hunts?? I don't get them- anyway, the next one is in the cupboard ;) Not telling you which one, though. :3 Also, I made hot chocolate for you! Go down stairs, it'll be on the counter. :]

Chuuya sighed. This was stupid. But curiosity got the best of him, and he floated back down. He walked back into the house, and walked over into the kitchen. He saw a mug of hot chocolate that was still hot, so it must have been made while he was on the roof, because no one had been in the house when he got home.

"It worries me that you might be in my house right now."

Chuuya mumbled. He walked over to the mug, and took a sip. It was actually really good, as he remembered it. (Dazai used to make hot chocolate for chuuya while he was still in the mafia.) Chuuya checked all the cupboards, and as dazai had said, he found a letter tucked between two cups in the fourth cupboard to the right. He opened it, and read,

Yay! You found it! :3 I'm getting lazy, so the next one will have the big prize. Uhh, the next letter is outside, at the park. Go find it ig. Bye, hope you like your prize! :]

Chuuya groaned. He changed, put his coat, shoes, and hat on, and walked out the front door.

When he got to the park, he walked around looking for the letter. He kept thinking and muttering to himself, where would dazai put it? He decided that dazai would probably put it somewhere in a trees especially one I'd have to use my ability to get. Chuuya sighed, and found the tallest tree. He floated up there, and sure enough, there was a letter. With some sort of envelope of some sorts attached to it, hanging by a ribbon off the tree. He went over to it, grabbed it, and floated back down. He looked at it, before deciding to open the letter first. All the letter said was:

Dear Chibi,

Hope you like the gift. Now look behind you. ;)

Chuuya spun around to find dazai standing barely inches away from his face. He jumped.

"DAZAI OSAMU WHAT THE FRUCK-" he jumped back. "Hi, chibi~ Okay, open the gift, open the gift!" Dazai jumped excitedly. "Why? Besides, what's up with you leaving letters all over my house? And why on a tree, and on the roof of all places?" Chuuya glared at him. "Oh, because I wanted to see just how short you really are! And, by the way, the m&Ms are gonna melt if you keep them in your pocket for too long." Dazai smiled. "How- Huh?" Chuuya stared at him. "WERE YOU WATCHING ME THE ENTIRE TIME?" "Um, yeah!" Dazai said. "The first one, when you found it on your coat rack, I was watching you through the window, then for the roof, it was quite simple, i was sitting on a tree behind you, and for the cabinet one I was also watching through a window!" Dazai looked at him. "Wha- Why?!" Chuuya screeched. "You still haven't opened your gift." Dazai reminded him. "Ugh. Fine, I'll open it, idiot." Chuuya murmured as he opened the seal to the envelope. Inside, he mound a stack of money. Chuuya stared at it. Even though he did have more money than dazai, this was still a lot of money. "Dazai- how- what-?" Chuuya stared at the money. "Oh, that's for whatever you want it to be for. Wine, or whatever. Its 1,050 dollars." Dazai just smiled, staring at chuuya. "1- 1050? HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MUCH MONEY? DiD yOu StEaL iT?!" Dazai just smiled menacingly. "You don't need to know." Dazai said simply. "Well- um, thanks... I guess..." Chuuya mumbled. He sealed the envelope, and walked home. Once he started walking, he heard footsteps following him. He stopped, and turned around. "What?" He looked at dazai, who was following him. "I'm just following you." He said. "You know I could call the police on you and say you were stalking me, right?" Chuuya said. "Yeah, but I could call the police on you, and tell them you're in the mafia, and also a mass murderer." Dazai said back. "I could do the same to you, too." Chuuya mumbled, annoyed. He started walking back home, dazai still following. "Could you stop following me?" He mumbled as dazai cought up with him, and was now standing beside him. "Nope." Dazai said. Once chuuya got to his house, he stood Infront of his door. "Now will you stop following me?" Chuuya groaned. "Yeah, I guess. Just wanted to walk you home, bye!" Dazai walked off. Chuuya smiled to himself. Sometimes that idiot could be really sweet.
