My dad continues to hit Shawn. I was in pain. But not in a physical way. It was more of a emotionless pain.

"NOW IM SAYING THIS AGAIN. LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE" my dad yelled again kicking Shawn in the stomach this time. I heard Shawn groan and I hurriedly ran over to him holding his body in my arms and his head on my lap. "DAD WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EVEN HAVE AGAINST SHAWN?" I asked him.

"YOU KNOW WHAT? IM TIRED OF YOUR SHIT GO UP TO YOUR ROOM NOW OR ELSE IM GONNA HIT PRETTY BOY TILL HE's DEAD" my dad replied.

After my dad had said that, I was angry. I had no choice. I was weak. I couldn't fight back with my dad. I helped Shawn get up and I assisted him to the front door. Before I shut the door, Shawn gave me a quick look to reassure that everything is going to be okay. I ran up the stairs soon after. I locked my bedroom door and I quietly took out my suitcase out of my closet. I then started to pack my belongings.

It was a hard decision. I was only 16. I had no job. But I guess it's better than living with an abusive father am I right? I zipped my suitcase and carefully opened my big window. I carried my heavy suitcase out my window and went down the ladder. I kept a ladder near my bedroom window roof in case of emergencies and something like this would happen. When I reached the bottom I saw Shawn standing there waiting for me.

This is it. I'm leaving home. No more worries. No more troubles. Just Shawn and I.

A/N: hey guys sry for the long update. These past days have been so stressful for me and yesterday I went through a horrible experience. I ended up having a breakdown and that bothered me the whole day. So sorry for the long wait. Oh and if you requested an imagine I'll try to work on it as soon as possible!

Just a little heads up, I'm leaving to Mexico Thursday (July 2nd) and I will be staying there for a week. I want to enjoy my time there so updates will be slow this week and next week. I hope you guys understand.
