why can't anyone fucking hear me?
it's like i'm screaming underwater.
bubbles erupting from my lips,
a parade of pain locked into a tiny air vessel
floating up and above and not making a sound.
to anyone looking into the pool
all they hear is silence
no matter how forcefully i shriek, my throat raw,
with my mouth gaping open just below surface level.
