The plane touched down at Charles de Gaulle Airport, and Vanity practically bounced in her seat. "Sid, we're in Paris! Can you believe it? I've seen it in movies, but it's even more beautiful in person!" she exclaimed, Sid smiled leaning over to gaze out of her window seat.

Sid, amused by her enthusiasm, draped an arm around her. "Easy there darlin' You're gonna wear yourself out before we even hit the streets." he smirked. She'd always wanted to go to Paris as she had a (rather unhealthy) obsession with Marie Antoinette and the French revolution.

Vanity shot him a playful glare. "No chance of that Sidney. Oh i wanna look around all the shops i can't wait!"

They got off of the plane, taking their suitcases and as they stepped out of the airport, Vanity's eyes widened at the sight of the city. "Oh, Sid, it's like a dream! Everything is so beautiful!"

Sid couldn't help but smile at her infectious excitement. "Alright, let's see what all the fuss is about, my little romantic. you're a right soppy little thing ain't ya?" He teased her, she playfully hit his chest. Vanity's eyes sparkled with determination as she playfully nudged Sid's side. "I'm more romantic than you."

Sid laughed before dropping his suitcase to his side and wrapping his arms around Vanity's waist, pulling her in close as he lent back slightly. "You clearly haven't seen me in bed after seven pints of lager then have ya?"

"ooo i'm not sure about that one Sidney." She teased and he hummed. "Now that i think about it i'm sure you have." he raised a brow suggestively.

"It must've been great because i can't seem to remember it." Vanity grinned before Sid stood straight, leaning his head down so he could whisper in Vanity's ear "I'll have to refresh your memory when we get to the hotel then won't i?" He attacked her neck with kisses and she giggled pushing his chest off of her slightly.

"You're an animal you are." She grabbed his hand as he picked his suitcase up. "Come on, Malcolm arranged a taxi for us" they walked away, the sound of vanity's black heels clinked against the floor.

As they stepped outside, the cool Parisian breeze greeted them, carrying with it the scent of adventure. Vanity took a deep breath, inhaling the essence of a city she had long dreamt of  going to.

They both looked around. not seeing a taxi anywhere until someone came up to them both, he was obviously French however he spoke well enough English that Sid and Vanity didn't have to worry about any language barrier. In this situation it would be the two punks that would be fucked as they didn't speak a word of fluent French. the only thing Vanity knew how to say was 'where's the bread' which she learnt when Mickey was speaking to a dealer who was staying with them for a while.

As they settled into the taxi, Vanity couldn't contain her excitement. "Sid, can you believe we're actually here? In Paris!" She looked out the window, taking in the iconic landmarks that dotted the skyline.

Sid wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Believe it, darlin'. Paris is in for a wild ride aint it."

The taxi started moving, navigating through the bustling Parisian streets. Vanity couldn't help but stare in awe at the architecture, the charming cafes, and the lively atmosphere. "It's like a dream, Sid. I've waited for this moment for so long."

Sid pressed a kiss to her temple. "Well, here we are, love."

It wasn't long before they got dropped off at their hotel and my goodness was it beautiful. The door to their hotel room swung open, revealing a haven of elegance and charm. Soft, muted lighting cast a warm glow, creating an inviting atmosphere. The room was adorned with classic Parisian decor, blending modern comfort with a touch of vintage allure.

The walls boasted intricate mouldings, painted in a subtle cream hue that added to the room's timeless charm. A large, ornate mirror hung above a vintage dresser, reflecting the soft glow of the ambient lighting. The windows, dressed in heavy velvet curtains, allowed a gentle stream of sunlight to filter through, revealing a picturesque view of the courtyard below.

A queen-sized bed took centre stage, dressed in crisp white linens with a plush duvet and an array of decorative pillows. The headboard, carved with delicate details, added a touch of romance to the room. A bouquet of fresh flowers adorned the bedside table, filling the air with a subtle fragrance.

"Fucking hell, Malcy really pulled out all the stops here didn't he?" Sid said.

A small sitting area by the window featured two plush armchairs and a quaint coffee table. The upholstery bore patterns reminiscent of classic French design, creating a cosy nook for Sid and Vanity to unwind and enjoy the view..this beauty isn't gonna last very long

"Fuckin' hell i could get used to this." Sid hopped onto the bed laying flat on his back, he looked up at the ceiling. "So could i" Vanity crawled onto his lap and began to kiss his neck. he smirked however pulled Vanity off of him. "i'm gonna check out the bathroom." he said, bursting through the door. Vanity reached into her suitcase. unzipping one of the compartments she pulled out a few post cards she'd gotten from the airport. one of them had the Eiffel Tower on it, obviously the most obvious choice for a postcard when you're in France.

She leant onto the top of her suitcase and began writing her postcard to Tiffany.

Dearest Tiff
Well me and Sid have landed in France and I must say it's even more beautiful than the films. They weren't lying when they called it the city of love.

We're going out to explore later, not a word from Steve and Paul though (honestly I could do without hearing from them)

Give Mickey my love, let him know that i'm thinking about him and hopefully we can find some decent drugs out here, I'll let you know the next time I write to you.

"SID! Do you want me to tell Tiffany and Mickey that you send your love?" She asked and Sid nodded "Yeah go on then!" He shouted back.

Sidney also sends his love to you and Mickey, he hopes you're well.

See you soon- lots of love from Vanity
