After class ended, I ran up to Soobin, waving at him, but as I was approaching him, he ran off to talk to the boys he had befriended. I slowly lowered my hand as the smile faded off my mouth.
"Dude! C'mon let's go eat!" Kayla exclaimed, running up to greet me. I nodded, following her, yet my attention was still directed towards Soobin.
The next few days were uneventful, and I couldn't even see Soobin. The teacher had announced he was taking a sick leave, and no matter how much I wandered, I couldn't find the grove he resided in. I had, yet again, put my foot in my mouth and chased away one of my only friends. I felt terrible. No one wanted to hurt the person they liked, and I had. I had hurt him. I buried my face in my pillow, but then rose again with a new determination.
One more time. I had to look for him once again.
