I hadn't felt so nervous and full of adrenaline in my life before. It was the 2nd last lap Charles was placed third in the Spanish GP, and Carlos was leading his home GP.

Isa was going absolutely crazy, and I don't blame her. I could also feel all my emotions coming out. I wanted to scream in fear and excitement.

Charles was turning into the last lap and was coming very close to Max, who was in second.

I was torn about who I wanted to place second because I had grown close to Isa and she had been so welcoming to me. I wanted Carlos to place first; it was his hike GP, after all. But for a second, I didn't know whether I wanted Max or Charles.

I overheard Charles's engineer telling him over the radio that this next turn was his last chance to overtake Max. I kept looking at the screen, then at his team, all sitting eagerly waiting to see Charles's next move.

Charles moved to the inside of the lane and accelerated past Max. The whole garage got up and screamed. Quickly after, we saw on the screen that Carlos crossed the finish line, followed by Charles, then Max. Isa and I jumped up and hugged each other and we were screaming. Isa pulled away and I saw she had happy tears flowing down her face. She then turned to Carlos' parents and family and celebrated with them. I watched how all the Ferrari officials ran towards the 2 drivers and hugged them. Everyone was chanting double podium.

Suddenly, Isa grabbed my arm,  pulling me in their direction. I was thinking a million things and nothing at all, all at once. We pushed our way through to the front to congratulate the drivers.

Isa dropped my hand to wrap hers around Carlos, and he spun her around before kissing her. They were so cute as they celebrated. I had never seen two people love each other like this in real life before. I had only seen it in movies.

From that moment on, I dreamed of finding a love like this.

I turned around and saw those eyes looking right at me.

My legs moved towards him before I could process what I was doing. To my surprise, I saw him doing the same thing. I looked behind me quickly to check whether it was actually me he was heading towards and not someone else behind me. When I saw no one behind me walking toward him, I looked back at him and saw that signature smile on his face.

I moved faster and saw he was slightly pushing through people to get to me.

I glanced back to Isa and Carlos, who were celebrating with his parents. I was really happy for them. When I turned back, I had lost sight of him; he wasn't in front of me anymore.
