It's been 3 days since I came back from Spain. I haven't messaged or spoken to Charles since that night either. But he also hasn't tried to get in contact me too. Maybe he just wants to give me some space after everything that had happened or maybe he's realised I'm just a girl with too much baggage.
During this time I had stopped messaging Bella, even though I knew she was concerned about me. She had found out from the press that Gabriel was there.
She instantly flooded me with text messages and calls but I didn't have the energy ro answer her.
But being the kind person she was, she sent my best friends a small message saying I needed them, and sure enough they came.
I was laying in my bed, when I heard a thumping sound coming from my front door. This was only followed by the gracious sound of a screeching parrot. I groaned getting out of bed and dragged myself to the door.
"Allegra, you're hurting my ears with your screaming."
"Oh shut up Conrad, she could be dead for all we know."
"She wouldn't want to miss the new episode of love island."
"See Nala knows what she's talking about."
"Yeah well I meant die because last night in the new episode, Micheal chose to couple up with Amber, leaving Julie all by herself and she was heartbroken."
I said whilst I opened my front door.
I was instantly pulled into a group hug by all of them and I just laughed, because for the first time in 3 days I felt happy.
"Oh thank god you've still got your humour, even if it's a coping mechanism"
Allegra said pulling away to look at me.
"Come on inside, I don't want something seeing me in my pjs."I said as I held the door open.
For Conrad, Nala and Allegra, my apartment felt like home. They knew where everything was and didn't need to ask me to get things. They were my family after all.
We almost found our places on the couch and I waited for them to lecture me on going MIA on everyone.
"How are you feeling?"
Conrad was hesitant to ask. He probably thought I'd explode. Both do the girls looked like they were thinking the same thing.
I didn't know where to start honestly.
