Helen and Osas were in the hotel hall just in time for the competition. Other parents and school representatives were sitted in the audience while the competitors took the front row

The competition started on an uptight note and when it was Ivie's turn she still manages to find osas in the crowd and beam a smile at her before starting her spelling rounds

Helen's heart was filled with so much joy seeing Ivie for the first time even though she was way up there and there were rows apart.

She is a bright and sound young girl. She was so prompt and detailed in her expression, she nailed all her questions and Helen was almost jumping on her feet to cheer her on

The competition ended by 2:30pm and Ivie qualified for the next stage

Osas was so proud, it is moment like this that makes her motherhood story such an exciting trailblazing experience. Things she could have never thought of doing her daughter was doing it and excelling at it.

They waited for Ivie at the entrance of the hall when the function was over, she showed up wearing a big smile as she gave osas a big hug, osas lifted her and swing her around

"My super smart brain box. Isabella my little genius. Ohhh am so proud of you my love. You were so amazing. You keep getting better it's almost unbelievable "

"Ohhh aunty osas for a minute I was very scared. They were so many people and everyone was staring at me"

"Of course baby. You are the star of our time so everyone better watch out coz my girl is here to shine and take the Trophy home "
They burst into laughter

Osas turned to Mrs Erabor who was just standing behind them watching quietly

"Oh Ivie I want you to meet someone very special, she's a wonderful woman and frankly I think the two of you have so much in common. Say hello to Mrs Erabor "

"Hello Ivie! It's so nice to finally meet you, Your mum..., I mean aunty osas has told me so much about you. And I think she didn't emphasize enough how incredibly awesome you are "

Instead of saying hello , Ivie gave Helen a hug and it shocked her. She didn't expect such a response especially since they haven't officially introduce themselves

"Ohhhh oh dear" Helen couldn't resist the warm hug from her granddaughter she wrapped her hands firmly around her and kissed her forehead

"Thank you so much for letting my aunty stay with you after wicked Aunty Ejiro chased her out of her house"

"Oh okay madam! Too much information can't you just say hello without running your mouth"
Osas cautioned

"No it's fine. She's so adorable "

"Thank you ma. You look very pretty "

"Oh thank you my darling. So do you my dear, the prettiest of them all.., Are you feeling hungry"
Ivie nodded
"Great! Let's go out and grab lunch. You deserve a treat, You have done so well "

"Woahhh! Can we get ice cream pls!"

"Anything you want my sweetheart. Today is all about you champ"

"Cool! I'll go tell my teacher and I still need to call my mommy and tell her I won"

"We'll do that when you get back, now go change your clothes and tell uncle Mark we'll be back soon"

Ivie giggles and rushed to her room

"She doesn't know you are her mom" Helen stated the obvious and the beaming smile on osas face fade off quickly

"I know how it sounds but It's something we gotten used to"
