Chapter 3

I opened my eyes because Judith's sobs woke me up from deep sleep. Tinitigan ko siya at pulang pula na ang mukha ng babae.

"Idiot."  umangat siya napg tingin at napasigaw nang makita akong nakatingin sa kaniya.

I heard her praying and thanking gods that I am alive.

I frowned when I can no longer feel any pain. "Mukhang umepekto na ang healing potion. " I see.

That's the reason why I felt alright now. That's good, dahil baka hindi ko na kayanin kapag gumising pa akong masakit ang likuran.

I get up from my bed, my dress is different now. Mukhang pinalitan ni Judith. Kaagad akong tumayo mula sa pagkakahiga at mukhang naabala noon si Judith. She stopped me from walking.

"My lady! Magpahinga ka muna! Isang oras lang ang tinulog niyo!" I can see panick in her eyes.

"An hour huh? I'm okay, Judith. And besides, my visitor is waiting for me." nakangising asong sabi ko na para bang hindi galing sa bugbog ang katawan ko kanina.

Bago lumabas ay sinigurado ko munang maganda ulit ako. Galing na nga ako sa bugbog tapos lalabas pa akong pangit? Pero hindi naman ako pangit, maganda pa rin. Lalabas lang akong mas maganda.

I was with Judith when we went downstairs. Natawa ako dahil wala man lang lumingon sa deriksyon ko kahit na nakabana na ako kung nasaan ang lahat ng mga tauhan ko at si Countess Geneva.

All of Erin's servant is busy entertaining the young Countess who looks like an old hag.

I clapped my hand to get their attention. Kaya naman kahit gulat silang lahat na narito ako ngayon ay nagawa ko pang ngumiti.

Bakit? Are they expecting me to die with those whips? Sinadya ba nilang gamitan ng magic para hindi ko makaya?

In this world, magic is everything kaya hindi na ako nagtataka kung bakot ang baba ng tingin nila kay Erin kahit Duchess pa siya. She isn't a commoner but sees as one by everyone because she is magicless. May mahina rin itong katawan.

I realized something, hanggat hindi ko pa alam kung papaano makababalik ay hindi ko sila hahayaang saktan ang katawan ni Erin. In my world, this novel is loved by people especially Erin, kahit tanga siya.

As long as my soul still resided inside her, no one will touch this body.

I did a courtesy for everyone.

It's a good thing that I read this novel at tinapos ko dahil kung hindi ay baka hindi ko alam kung ano ang iaakto ko ngayon! I am also quite packed with knowledge about the system in this world.

"Good afternoon, Countess Geneva. I apologized if I made you wait. My fragile body just took a rest after that small beatings. Now, shall I accompany you instead of my servants?" 

I know, basing from the gazes they're giving me I knew that they are thinking something ill or something about me. Dahil ang totoong Erin ay walang lakas ng loob na lumabas sa kwarto niya atmas lalong hindi niya kayang makipag-usap ng ganito.

I smiled brightly when I saw how the Countess face changed. "Judith, please bring tea here." utos ko kay Judith at umupo akp sa harapan ng Countess.

I can saw through her how I made her annoyed by just sitting in front of her. I smirked while dismissing all of this house servant.

"Who told you to seat with me?" bakas na bakas ang irita sa boses ng Countess.

I acted innocent, I even frowned.

"Why? I can't chose where to seat inside my house, Countess? And it's Duchess, my lady. I have a title higher than yours, if you don't mind showing some of your noble etiquette." I politely said that to her but I emphasezed every word for her to feel that I am higher.

I can still remember this scene, nabasa ko ang eksenang ito sa storya. This is the day where the Countess shop is bankcrupt.

Nang dumating si Judith ay kaagad kong kinuha ang tea pot. "Please allow me to pour you some tea, my lady."

Kitang-kita ko ang pagkalukot ng noo ng babae. Her gripped on her fan was tight.

Itinago ko ang ngisi. Worth it ang bugbog kapag ganito!

"My lady, I have heard that one of your shop is bankcrupt? Deserve mo. "

"What?! How dare you?!" kitang kita ko ang nanlilisik niyang mga mata at ang pagduro niya sa akin ng kaniyang pamaypay.

"Who told you that?!"

I can feel her range that is why I smiled even more. "I wonder who, kalat na po kase sa labas."

"I'll take my leave!" napahiya lang aalis na.

Kaagad akong tumayo. "I'll sent you outside, my lady."

She didn't responded that's why I contined tailing her around hanggang sa makarating kami sa labas ng bahay. "Take care, Countess Geneva. Someone might struck magic in your head, marami pa namang baliw ang nakakalat."

Huling sabi ko sa kaniya bago umandar ang karwahe niya papalayo. When I can no longer see her carriage, I immediately erased the smile in my faced before entering my house full of wild servants who has no respect from their master.

They did not bother greeting me. They are really used disrespecting Erin huh. Let's see.

I made sure I look different when I set my foot inside. Inutusan ko si Judith na tawagin ang lahat ng servants sa loob ng bahay. The ligned for me and I almost cough when they refused to look at my eyes.

What in the world is this?!

Alam kong wala silang respeto kay Erin but I'm not expecting that it is like this!

"Who I am?" I asked one of them.

I heard how she sighed. "You are Erin Lirika."

Aba gaga?!

Ang kapal! She doesn't call me Duchess!

"Don't get me wrong but you are no Duchess. Pinakasalan ka lang ng amo namin kaya ka may Title."

Tangina abogado ako pero wala akong maisasagot sa babaeng ito! Dahil totoo naman!

I maintained my poise. "Wow, that's great. You are well aware that I have a title. Alam ko kung ano ang susunod mong sasabihin, kung wala ang amo mo wala lang ako o 'di kaya'y, I am nothing because I am magicless, walang laban kahit pa sa mababang katulong gaya mo. But I am the Duchess, that's a fact. Alam mo naman siguro ang mangyayari kapag may tumangka sa buhay ko."

I tried so hard to recall every helpful detail that I can still remember reading in this novel kaya buti na lang ay may roon pa! I completely shut her down.

I look at them with boldness, not backing down even I'm just a stray cat facing these ligned up tigers.

"I am a Dutchess, I will let the disrespect today slide. But tomorrow will be different. I might be a dumb before but it's different now, consider it a threat than a warning. Dismiss!"

They all look angry at me when I said that. They must think I am fool but they cannot do anything because there's a law in this country that if you will harm a Duchess you will be given a death penalty.

I'm sure sasabog din sila sa ugali ko, there's no way those prideful servants will just remain shut. Magic is everything here, kaya alam kong mababa pa rin ang tingin nila sa akin.

I don't care, someone brought me to this world and I'll completely ruin the plot
