Chapter VI

"Go with your groups and start your first activity."

Tumalima naman kami at agad na inumpisahan ang pag gawa ng mga designs ng building namin. This one is very easy but the twist will make this a little more challenging.

We were too focus and we were too loud with communicating within the group until we heard the first ding indicating the first round of exchanging members with the group.

First to move in our group was Max in exchange for Daryll. Now here comes the interesting phase. Daryll will have to come up with an idea on his own to help make this build strong.

"Hi. What's your concept in this?" He asked.

Inexplain naman sakanya sa madaliang paraan yung plan namin sa build at tumango tango ito. He collected some sticks on the ground and made a circular base.

Ding!

Fuck it. Ang bilis naman!

Maia left our group in exchange with Hailey.

"Hi, Kier." Bati niya sakin. Ngumiti naman ako sakanya at binati din siya.

"Hoy, una lande te? May activities tayo." Puna ng group leader naming si Anton— who is gay.

Nagsitawanan lamang ang mga kagrupo ko at mga nakadinig sakanya. Hindi naman kasi lingid sa kaalaman ng lahat na Hailey and I were past flings but it ended. Wala lang, napagod kami sa ganong sitwasyon so we ended things.

Not like we did more than first base though.

Ding!

"Yo! It will collapse if we make it round like this." I noticed what Daryll was doing and I knew, it won't last a minute of shaking. "Make it as simple and yet—."

Ding!

What? Ang bilis naman! Wala pa namang limang minuto yun ah! Tumingin ako sa harap kung saan tahimik na nakamasid lamang si Miss Celestial habang hawak nito ang timer sa kanyang kanang kamay.

"Move." Utos niya ng mapansing walang lumipat ni isa sa amin.

Fuck, it's my turn na pala.

Dali-daling tumayo ako at nagmamadaling pumunta sa kabilang grupo. Before I could reach them, I fell to the ground with a weight on top of me and—.

I groaned in pain as my butt landed first and I hit my head on the floor. But what bothers me the most is that soft thing on my lips.

"Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry, Kier." Hinging paumanhin ng babae sa taas ko. I forced my eyes open. It was Hailey?

"Hailey?"

"You were task to build, not to fall and kiss inside my class." I looked over Hailey's back and saw our Professor standing tall over us.

She was looking— no, she was glaring down at me. Madilim ang mukha nitong nakatingin sa akin na akala mo'y may balak itong pumatay ng tao. Napalunok ako sa takot.

"Get off her, Ms. Villar and continue with your activity." She looked around her students. "If you fail to finish this within an hour, I will fail all of you." Then she looked back at me, still with those vexed laced eyes.

"Specially you, Avalon."

Iyon lang at umalis na ito at lumabas ng classroom. Lahat kami ay tahimik lang sa loob at walang ni isa man ang gumalaw. We were shocked.

I am shocked! And scared!

Anong kasalanan ko't ako ang umako ng punishment?!

They bumped into me and we accidentally kissed! It's not like I planned it.
