As I slowly blinked away the remnants of sleep, reminding me of the events from the previous night. It's a blur really, from the men running to us and Hongjoong's touch. Yeah.. that was really something.

I gulped down a whole bottle of water, hoping to alleviate the remnants of the pounding ache. I still have to work today. Yay for me. I looked outside and admired the beautiful weather despite the sun's radiant glow, knowing I'd have to remain indoors.

It all changed when the buzzing of my phone interrupted my thoughts, drawing my attention to the device resting on my bed Without hesitation, I reached for it, curious to see who it is. "Oh, it's Seonghwa. What does he want?"

I responded. "Hello?"

"Hello, it's me Hongjoong"

I furrowed my brows. "How are you calling me from Seonghwa's phone?" I'm just wondering how he can understand how a phone work.

"I just took it. He was pretty knocked out when I entered his room this morning. It was the easiest thing I've ever stolen" His chuckle resonated through the line.

"Oh my gosh," I exclaimed, feeling exasperated. "Where are you now?"

"Meet me by the ocean, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised" He teased.

Once again, I let out a sigh. What has this little troublemaker done now?

"Okay, I'll be there" I replied as I could hear him faintly shriek in excitement. It was evident that he had placed the phone at a distance from himself, and that thought brought a smile to my face.

I made up my mind to use the car instead of taking the secret passage. Don't get me wrong, I know the shortcut would save me time, but seriously, these shoes are Louis Vuitton, honey. I refuse to trample through dirt and spiderwebs.

I got there fast, where is Hongjoong?

As I scanned the area, my eyes landed on a solitary dock, where a grand boat stood, no one else.. no, don't tell me.

"Dalhae!" Hongjoong exclaimed, poking his head out from the boat.

No way..

"Today we're going to the fair!" He jumped out the boat to get to me. "During our recent visit to town, I happened upon some posters announcing a fair taking place in a nearby village"

He extended his hand towards me. I squinted suspiciously. "You stole the boat didn't you?"

He smirked in response. "You know me too well, darling" Nevertheless, he reached out and took my hand.

I embarked the yacht, he really stole a yacht oh my gosh.. if we get caught this time it's really going to be the end for me.

As he proudly guided me around the boat, a smile spread across his face. I couldn't help but be captivated by the way his eyes sparkled when he spoke about something that fueled his passion. It was endearing, in a way.

"Do you know that it's a Tuesday?" I asked him, almost laughing in disbelief.

"Yes" He responded, not seeing the problem.

"And you also know that it's 7 in the morning?" I added, raising a brow.

"You know what they say, the early bird gets the cash" He declared confidently.

This time, I couldn't help but laugh. "The early bird gets the worm. That was cute"

"Cute? I'm not cute or whatever that means" His lips twitched into a mock scowl, his fingers gripping the boat's steering wheel.
