The morning after, I woke up with my head pounding. Rubbing my temples, I groaned and tried to piece together the events of the previous night. Despite the throbbing headache, memories flooded back, and I couldn't help but smile. Even if I didn't recall every detail, I knew it had been an amazing night, judging by the soreness in my legs.

Beside me, Renee began to stir, our clothes scattered haphazardly around the room. With a soft sigh, she blinked her eyes open, her expression still drowsy but undeniably adorable.

As she shifted slightly, her gaze met mine, and a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. I felt a flutter of warmth in my chest at the sight of her,it's like her presence is filling the room with a sense of tranquility.

When she leaned in to press a tender kiss against my cheek, I couldn't suppress the grin that spread across my face. As Renee snuggled closer, resting her head against my shoulder, I wrapped an arm around her, pulling her in closer.

We stayed like that for a few minutes, neither of us feeling the need to break the tranquil silence that enveloped us. Just enjoying the moment and waking up slowly.

"Hey, sleepyhead." I softly said, brushing a stray strand of hair from Renee's forehead. "As much as I'd love to stay like this all day, I think it's time we join the others for breakfast." I softly said

"Mmm, do we have to?" Renee murmured sleepily

"Trust me, I think they might start sending out search parties if you don't show up soon." I chuckled

Renee groaned in response.

"Come on, let's get dressed" I said with a teasing look, gently nudging her shoulder.

She nodded and began to rise, but her legs appeared to be in an even worse state than mine. With a slight wince, she struggled to walk towards the bathroom. I couldn't help but chuckle inwardly, realizing that I must not have been too shabby if she was feeling it too.

"Rough morning?" I asked, amused.

"You could say that. My legs are killing me." She replied, grimacing.

"Yeah, mine too. I guess we really went all out last night." I chuckled.

Renee smirked. "Must have been the dance moves."

"Sure seemed like it." I said while laughing.

"Well, whatever it was, at least we had fun, right?" Renee said, with a sudden unsure tone

"Agreed. Just two friends blowing off some steam." I said, hoping she would agree.

"Yeah, and paying for it this morning." She added with a playful grin.

With a knowing look exchanged between us, we both agreed it was mostly the alcohol's doing, just two friends relieving some tension. Deciding to shake off the awkwardness, we resolved to join everyone downstairs at the buffet.

As we entered the breakfast area, it felt like all eyes were on us. I couldn't shake the feeling of being scrutinized, wondering if it was because I was supposed to have gone home last night but ended up staying here instead.

Renee and I joined Alex, Bella, and Towa. They were all sitting together, their eyes darting between us with mischievous grins on their faces.

Alex smirked and nudged Bella, whispering, "Well, well, well, look who decided to grace us with their presence this morning."

"Yeah, we were starting to wonder if you'd ever come out of your room." Bella said, her tone laced with amusement.

I exchanged a sheepish grin with Renee, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks.
