Yesterday we went home really late after the concert. Let me tell you it was amazing. We went home and went straight to bed. We were so tired we just changed into more comfortable clothes and collapsed into bed. Normally, I struggle to fall asleep quickly, my mind buzzing with thoughts. But last night, I was so physically and emotionally drained from the day's excitement, not to mention a little tipsy from the drinks, that sleep came almost instantly.

This morning, I woke up before Renee, she had wrapped her arms around me during the night. Gently untangling myself from her embrace, careful not to disturb her peaceful slumber, I slipped out of bed and tiptoed out of the room. I made my way downstairs to the kitchen where I found Scarlett already cooking some breakfast for everybody. I offered to help, and we started chatting. As we cooked, I couldn't help but notice similarities between Scarlett and Maddy. Both exuded a vibrant energy and a knack for bringing people together, instantly putting everyone at ease.

Renee's POV :

As I woke up to find the bed empty, a pang of disappointment washed over me, quickly replaced by a sense of rest. I stretched my entire body, I slept so well, it's been a long time since I slept this well, really. Max must have gotten up early. I pulled on a cozy hoodie and made my way downstairs. The house smells like fried eggs, grilled toast and pancakes.

5 of my friends were all sitting and chatting in the kitchen. eating breakfast together. Among them, Max was chatting with Gabriella and Scarlett, her laughter ringing out like music to my ears. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of her.

She was seated, her back in front of me, she couldn't see me. Approaching her from behind, I wrapped my arms around her, resting my head on her shoulder. She tensed momentarily, surprised by my sudden embrace, but relaxed as soon as she realized it was me. A soft smile graced her lips, warming my heart.

As she continued to talk with Scarlett and Gabriella she swooped from her chair, guiding me to take her seat. I sat, still in my groggy, morning state. I saw her prepare something and about 2 minutes later she settled on a steaming cup of coffee and a plate full of pancakes. Returning to my side, she pulled up a chair to sit next to me, her presence felt comforting and familiar.

Caught up in the moment, I barely noticed Towa's teasing remark until she spoke up, her mischievous smirk evident even from where I sat. I know she could never resist teasing when she has the chance.

"Well, well, we didn't get the same royal treatment," Towa teased with a smirk, her eyes dancing with mischief.

I held my breath, unsure of how Max would take the comment. To my surprise she chuckled and smiled along.

"What can I say?" I replied, with a playful grin. "She's got some serious housewife potential."

Before I could say anything else, Max leaned in close, her words sending my heart racing.

"you know, I like to please you"

I swallowed hard, trying to steady my racing pulse as she left for our room to change.
