But regardless I shall never cease writing this fanfic until the very end. and just in case you haven't guessed already yes this chapter is all about our favorite troll dads trying to figure out parenting... even though they are just foster parents for the time being

After Vendel and Kanjigar finished their discussion of how to address the situation they decide to have Blinky and Aaarrrgghh take care of Borhart temporarily rather than permanently adopt him as they have reason to believe that Borhart is the key in getting Bular to redeem himself the same way that Aaarrrgghh did. Both Blinky and Aaarrrgghh were surprised to learn of everything that has happened up to this point and were completely speechless when Vendel handed them the note that Bular had wrote.
Aaarrrgghh had recognized Bular's handwriting almost immediately so he knew for certain that the contents of the letter are indeed true even if he couldn't believe what he was reading. While Blinky was paranoid of Bular's intentions for them, He did acknowledge the fact that Bular was trying to do something selfless for them even at the cost of his own wellbeing and happiness and was grateful of Bular's attempt to help him and Aaarrrgghh achieve their dream of having a child .
But at the same time, it felt wrong for Blinky and Aaarrrgghh to take the whelp as their own when it was obvious to them that Bular was the only being that Borhart considered to be his parent. After Vendel handed Blinky Borhart the couple wasted no time in bringing their new foster son home.
Over the next week, Blinky and Aaarrrgghh struggled to care for Borhart as he constantly cried out for Bular. Even though Borhart learned to get used to Blinky and Aaarrrgghh's care he still missed his papa. As of this moment the only thing that seemed to calm Borhart down is being wrapped up in the same blanket that he was in when Kanjigar found him due to Bular's scent being on the blanket... but it was only a matter of time before the scent completely fades away and they go back to square one.
As much as they love to care for Borhart and gaining the experience needed for parenting it still felt off to claim Borhart as their own. Aaarrrgghh especially since he knew from first hand experience what it was like to be separated from his parents and to cry out for them for hours on end... except this time Aaarrrgghh made sure that Borhart was raised with love and care rather then pain and cruelty like he did when he was taken from his home and turned into the Gumm-gumm warrior that he once was.
Even though Blinky and Aaarrrgghh have ... complicated opinions towards Bular one thing was certain... he was the only one who deserved to be Borhart's father more than his biological father or themselves and proved himself more than worthy of being a loving parent . So for now they will keep taking care of the whelp until Kanjigar finds Bular and convinces him to reunite with Borhart ...and consider defecting from his father.
