i thought the universe
was brought to an end
when you came into
my life.
almost like the meteor
that impacted our planets'
surface 13.7 billion years ago,
but worse.
maybe that's what love feels like.
if so,
i don't want to experience
the heartbreak that follows.
the world will become extinct
and so will love,
so let's end this now
and save our lives
from the big bang.
