Zero caught ____ self harming and told Kaien only to find out that Kaname and Yuki are returning at the end of the week.

‡~____'s POV~‡

After Zero left I decided to get into bed and sleep... Well try to sleep. Its hard to sleep when your brain is so active with confusing thoughts.

Why does Zero dislike my 'family'? And what is with this hot and cold attitude? One minute he's stating he's not my friend, next he's telling me to tell him my problems right before he just storms out of my room.

I've been here one day and about three people know of my self harm and I have a weirdo Friend except not really dude poking his nose in my business.

I turned over in my bed and groaned in frustration before pulling my pillow over my head in an attempt to muffle my thoughts. Needless to say I was unsuccessful.

"You ok there?" I heard a familiar voice. I turned over and saw a familiar lilac mop of hair standing by my bedside.

"Lola? What are you doing here?" I asked sitting up.

"I heard the commotion and it woke me up. Said I'd come see you before Thom blew a fuse." She said sitting on my bed. "So what was all the noise?" I sighed.

"Ahh it was nothing." I said leaning forward. She raised her eyebrow.

"Really? Really ____? I know something went on." She said crossing her pyjama covered legs. I stayed quiet. She hummed.

"Would Matty persuade you to talk?" She smirked getting up and putting my CD I burned with all The 1975 songs on. She smirked and sat down as 'Medicine' played in the background. She knew that if anything could make me talk, it'd be while the Mancunian accent of Matty Healy is playing in the seams of the conversation.

"So. What happened?" She asked.

"Could you not smell it?" I answered a question with a question.

"Smell what?" She did the same.

"The blood... My blood." I answered. She sighed.

"I hoped I was hallucinating. Haven't had blood in nearly a month Y'know. Why were you bleeding?" She quizzed. I shuffled uncomfortably in the crisp sheets.

"She cuts herself." Said a voice. Our necks craned to the door to see a familiar blonde vampire leaning on the frame.

"I caught her a while ago. Blood tastes delicious." He said licking his lips as he strode further into my room. Lola ignored the fact that a stranger had told her this and turned to me.

"____.... Is this true..?" I waited a minute before nodding. She sighed and put her head in her hands.

"What did you do it with?" She asked.

"A razorblade. Cut my tongue a little." Aido answered, leaning against my bedpost.

"Aido!" I yelled as he chuckled.

"Where is it now?" Lola asked.

"Kiryu took it. Right before he stormed off." Aido continued speaking for me. "What did he do? Pounce on you?" I growled slightly.

"I told him why I'm here." I replied.

"Which would be..?" He stopped looking aimlessly at his nails to look at me.

"To see my family." I replied suddenly getting a burst of confidence. "The Kurans."

I saw his eyes widen.
"W-what?" He stuttered. "Kuran? As in Kaname and Yuki Kuran? Pureblood Vampires?" I nodded.

"Yes. They're my half siblings. Their father had an affair with my mother." I said sincerely.

"You're lying." He yelled.

"The whole truth. I came here to see them. Ask Headmaster Cross." I insisted.

"Liar!" He shouted. "The Kurans would never mix with a mutt like you!" Lola growled Lowly to warn him to be quiet. I sat there unfazed. He turned to Lola.

"Quiet, Dog!" He spat. Lola growled again. More aggressive this time. Her eyes were tinting yellow.

"Lo.." I reminded her to stay calm. She climbed off the bed and towards Aido.

"I'm no dog, vampy.. I am a wolf." She warned. Aido backed away as she got closer.

"W-what's she doing? Get her away from me!" He yelled.

"Lola!" I screamed. She ignored me and put her head down.

"Aido! She's turning!" I yelled. Just then Lola's breathing got heavier and she dropped to her knees and screamed. She slowly started to morph into her wolf self.

"What do I do?!" Aido yelled. Suddenly we heard a howl and a Lilac wolf pinned him to the wall.

Aido shrieked and put out his hand and two blocks of ice formed around Lola's front paws keeping her in place. She yelped in pain.

"Lola!" I screamed lunging to help her. "Aido what did you do?!"

"I was protecting myself!" He defended.

"Hanabusa?" A voice questioned from the open doorway. A ginger haired man in a half open black dress top and some white and black pants strode in.

"What's this?" He asked Aido gesturing to the scene before him.

"Akatsuki! This wolf girl attacked me!" He said nodding to Lola. 'Akatsuki' pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed.

"Isn't Kiryu supposed to deal with this?" He asked with his eyes closed.

"He ran off awhile ago." I butt in. His gaze snapped to me.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"_____ Kovanante. I'm a new student here. I'm a hybrid. And this is Lola Shinohara." I replied.

"Akatsuki Kain." He replied. This was a really weird introduction..

Lola whimpered and shuffled a little to say 'Hello? Still stuck here?' Kain looked at her and his eyes softened.

"Here." He said before melting the ice with some fire. She turned again after being released and collapsed onto me.

"Thank you.." She breathed to Kain. Kain nodded in acknowledgment.

"Are you ok?" He asked her. She nodded.

"Her?! What about me?! I was the victim here!" Aido yelled. Kain smacked his head then knelt down to Lola.

"Want me to take her back to her room?" He asked.

"Please. Its four doors down." I replied. He nodded and picked her up bridal style.

"Hanabusa. Let's go." He beckoned. Aido set off in front of Kain and out the door. Kain followed him.

"Kain.." I said before he left. He turned back.

"Thank You." I said. He smiled.

"Goodnight, _____."
