"Zero.. I have one more question." He looked up at me. "How long has it been since you've had blood?"

‡Zero's POV‡

My eyes widened.

"W-What?" I stuttered. She folded her arms.

"You said you fed from my sister when she was here." She paused. "That's means its nearly been two months since you've had blood."

I know what she's asking and I'm not going to do it.. Not again. And not to her. I tried to think of something to say to distract her.

"I could say the same for you." I retorted. "You said you fed from that Ash guy. And am I right in saying tomorrow is a full moon? You must be dying for blood." She looked hurt at the mention of Ash's name. She nodded.

"You're right." She said defeated. "But I'll survive on tablets. I hope..." She mumbled the last part. I frowned at her.

"____..." I trailed off. Her eyes hardened.

"Well, Zero, what are you saying?!" She snapped, throwing up her arms in frustration. I thought for a minute. What am I saying? We both need blood.. Badly. But.. The only person I've ever offered blood to was 'her'. Now that I think about it.. I act the same around ____ as I used to with Yuki.

"Well, Zero?!" ____ yelled, interrupting my thoughts. Fuck it. I stood up.

"I'm saying.." I sighed. "Drink my blood.. And I'll drink yours." Her eyes widened.

"Z..?" She muttered the nickname she gave me. "Are you sure?" I nodded, assuring myself more than her.

She shuffled closer to me. I grabbed her hand and pulled her onto my lap. I gently pushed her head towards my neck. I shivered as she dragged her tongue against my skin.

"I'm sorry.." She whispered before she plunged her fangs into my neck. I winced a bit at the feeling. ____ stopped drinking as I did so. She's scared to hurt me.. I rubbed her back, signaling that she can continue. She drank hungrily but I could tell she was holding back.

She pulled away a while later, wiping blood from her chin.

"Your turn.." She whispered. I nodded and pushed her back onto the bed. She gasped as I hovered over her, with my head in the crook of her neck. I licked her neck to ready her. She shivered before nodding.

I heard her take a sharp gasp as I bit her. I waited for her to give me the go ahead to drink. She gently clutched my hand and I began to drink.

My eyes widened. Her blood.. Tastes so sweet and irresistible. I'm finding it hard to hold back..

I pulled away and lay beside her on the bed. I sighed.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah.." She breathed. "You? I hummed a yes. We stayed in silence for a while.

"Thank you." She said finally. I turned my head to look at her.

"No problem." She smiled at my reply. Saying something so casual in a situation like this.. Its weird.
