THIS IS MY 50TH ONESHOT BTW THANK YOU GUYS MWAAAH

~~~~~~ Aethers 3rd POV ~~~~~~

"I'm sorry but I don't know where master is at the moment. He's probably on one of his business trips." The butler kindly told the blonde who sighed, "I haven't seen him in two weeks. Are you sure he's coming back?" He was polite with his tone, hoping not to upset her.

"Are you horny? Is that why you want him to come back? His pets usually don't worry about him so much unless they need something." This comment was spoken so kindly yet it left Aether a little stunned. His face turned red, "N-no. That's not- I just.. I am worried but that doesn't mean I need anything from him. Can I not have some human decency?" He shot back.

She laughed, "Oh no don't get offended honey. It's just weird that your worrying about him but don't worry too much. He'll be back eventually and he's made sure that we take good care of you." Her smile was a bit comforting and made him feel at ease. With that, he walked around this mansion that he's had two weeks to explore and memorize it all. His days were peaceful and quiet mostly.

For some reason, all of the workers there were scared to make noise. They talked but talked quietly and calmly. It was nice. Way better than what's outside of theses walls. He's had time to go outside as well. It's whole bunch of land going for miles. Before land, some of it is shared with farmers who harvest the goods and spilts cost with the owner of the land who is Xiao. The vampire who owns all of this.

One of the maids told him that when he asked. They answer all of his questions honestly. If there was something they couldn't tell him, they would just stay quiet until he either changed the subject or ask something else. They told him that Xiao owns many businesses and has inherited a lot of money from his family.

They don't know much about his personality though expect that he doesn't talk much, he likes almond tofu and he gets irritated easily. He apparently had a really bad temper. Of course Aether knows this from his first night here.

Night came quicker than he realized. He was reading a book in the master bedroom, he found a library and so many books in there. It was almost magical. He liked reading but he would rather be moving around.

Suddenly, the door flew open and it startled Aether to the point he was shaking. Who was it and how did they get in? His worries subsided as he saw Xiao come through the door. He immediately got up and went over to help him. Xiao was stumbling and holding his stomach as if he was in pain. He was sweating and had some blood on him that Aether hadn't seen earlier.

Xiao put a hand up before he could reach him. "Don't. Don't come any closer." He growled, Aether stopped and looked at him with worry. "Sir. You should really-" There was a butler behind him, following him with his hands out in case he collapsed. "Shut up and get out of my face. I'll heal eventually. Go..." The vampies voice trailed off as he started to fall and his eyes were rolling back. Aether quickly was able to catch him before he fell. The butler helped him carry him to the bed and by that time he had gained consciousness.

"Where.. where am I?" He asked. It was strange. How had he already forgotten? Aether reached over and felt around his head. Xiao made a hissing sound and quickly grabbed Aethers wrist tightly, pulling it away from his head. His hand had blood on it. Touching the wound on his head seemed to have brought back his memory.

"Master your bleeding badly and it's not healing." The butler said as he held a hand over the wound on his stomach. Xiao opened his mouth to say something but got cut off by pain in his stomach. He let out a small sound of pain and held his stomach again, wincing. "Do you need blood?" Aether asked quickly. Xiao looked up at him and shook his head, "No. I'll kill you. I have bullets in me. You have to get them out first so I can heal. There's- ah. One in my head too." It looked painful to speak.
