We've got back from our incredible honeymoon in Bora Bora two days ago and since it's December and Christmas is just two weeks away we really need to decorate our house!
Most of the decorations are the ones we used in the last year, a mix between mine and hers but this year since we've got a new house we decided to buy a new tree, so that's the first task for today!
"I'm not sure which one I want..." Sofia mumbles as we're standing in front of a couple of trees "Close your eyes and point at one..." I suggest "Mhm..." "Not convinced?" "What if the one I pick with eyes closed is not the perfect one?" "Then pick the one you think it's perfect with your eyes open" "Ugh why is this so hard?" "If this is hard I can't imagine when the time to choose our kids names will come" "Ehy" she says punching lightly my arm I just kiss her head and stand behind her and she ponders more which tree to choose.

After two hours we finally got home with our tree and I placed it down in the living room, we opens it up and let it sit while we went to get all the decorations. "Do you want to decorate outside too?" I ask her "If you don't mind?" She says knowing well that I'll be doing most of the work "Of course I don't mind baby, I'd do everything to make you happy" "You're the best" "Love you baby" I tell her before grabbing the last box and bringing it inside "Love you too!" She shouts after me
I then started on the outside since it's gonna get dark soon, as I was on the ladder Sofia was handing me the lights and I was outing them on place, we also added a couple of things in the front garden. "Light it up baby!" I tell her She goes inside and switches them on "Oh it's so pretty!" She tells me after running out to take a look "It really is" "Thank you" she says looking up at me "Give me a kiss" She smooches my lips quickly before running back inside to the warmth of our home. I put the boxes and the ladder away in the garage and then walk back inside finding Sofia pouring hot cocoa into two Christmas themed mugs "Warm yourself up a little bub" she says handing me one "Thanks" I say kissing her lips As we both sip on our warm chocolate we discuss how to decorate the inside of the house, and so fare we've decided to decorate the banister with a garland and little lights, the fire place with our stockings and little decorations on the shelves, and of course our brand new tree.
We started from the tree, personally fighting with the lights...and then moving on with the ornaments and of course the star on top. "Come here" I tell her handing her the bright gold star "I'm gonna pick you up" "Ok" she says giggling I lift her oof the floor and she extends her arm toward the point of our tree and perfectly places the ornament "Tree done!" She says as I let her down, then spin her in my arms so I can kiss her lips softly and romantically. "On with the rest, so then we can order pizza and watch a classic?" I ask "Sure!"

After putting away all the empty boxes once we were all done we ordered some pizza and made the couch cozier by grabbing our fave blankets. When the pizza arrived we grabbed napkins and plates and sat on the floor, putting the pizza on the coffee table and started Home Alone 1 "Cheers" I say clicking my coke glass with hers "Cheers baby" We stayed in the floor till we finished eating, then washed our hands and I cleaned up while she cozied herself into the cocoon of blankets on the couch "Chris..." she whines when she doesn't she me coming "Coming!" I tell her running into the living room and sliding in the floor with my socks, stopping right in front of her "Goof..." she comments and pats the spot next to her "Love you baby" "Love you too Chrissy"
