It's finally Christmas time, one of our favorite holidays. We just arrived at my mom's house and everyone is here already, Sebastian and Georgeta included of course.
We all chipped in to cook lunch so our mothers didn't have to do all by themselves, we have a few Romanian specialties that we all grown to love throughout the years. "Kids at the table!" My mom says gathering all of us around in the dining room, each of us sitting at our designated spot and waiting for our turn to be served.
"How's the food?" Georgeta asks everyone after a few minutes "Good as always mami" Sebastian says "I agree" I tell her "Best cook in the world awards goes to Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Georgeta!" My brother says raising his wine glass and making us all chuckle The lunch went on for more than an hour, closer to two hours actually and once we were all done, us "kids" decided to let our mothers rest and clean up both the kitchen and the dining room. "Still got plates to dry?" Sofia asks standing behind be with a hand on my hip "A couple and a casserole to wash" "I'll dry those" "Thanks baby" Got to admit we make a nice team even while washing and drying plates...
"Come play some games!" Shanna says from inside the house to Scott, Sebastian, Ryan and I while we were just talking in the snowy backyard "Five minutes" "Ok!" "We were saying?" Ryan asks "What project do they have..." Scott says "Oh yeah..." "I've got the avengers premiere in April and then from April to July I'm gonna be filming a new movie" I say "As of right now I'm relaxing...but we do have an interview together in a few months right?" He asks me "Yup, not fully marvel related tho" I explain to the boys "Yeah after knowing that we're best friends since Highschool they want to know more" "That's cool" Ryan comments "Yeah...let's go back inside before they all come out to get us" Sebastian says
Once inside we grabbed our mugs filled with hot cocoa and started to play monopoly, a game that when we were younger our mothers decided to ban it to us cause we would fight over it way too much! "You all know the rules..." my mom says "Play nice and nothing will happen" Georgeta continues Of course not everything went according to plan and the game lasted almost for the whole afternoon but in the end Sofia and I won.

After staying till 7pm and my moms house, after exchanging gifts and talking more we all headed our separate ways, knowing that in these next few days we're gonna see a lot of each other. "Do you want to pick a movie?" Sofia asks when we were both in our matching Christmas pj's "Mhm yeah..." "I'll go take off my make up" "Ok" I kiss her lips quickly before making my way downstairs and into our living room. Before sitting down I browse through our dvd's collection and pick up Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone , then I grab our blanket and the remote and get comfy on the couch waiting for Sofia to arrive.
"Why uhm..." "Yeah?" I say turning my head towards her, seeing her strange expression "something wrong?" "No...do you remember the test I took this morning?" "Yeah I...uhm it...it was negative" I say sighing "Yeah uhm...it's positive now..." "What?" "It's positive and I took three more to be sure and..." she says her voice cracking with emotions, she walks to me and hands me the four tests, all saying the same thing pregnant 1-3 weeks. "Oh my god! Oh my god!" I say beyond excited and jumping up from the couch hugging Sofia with all the love I have "we're pregnant baby...we did it!" "I know...we still have to see at the doctor..." "I know but this says you're pregnant, it worked" I tell her "We're gonna have a baby" she says and she nods at me. Tears running freely on both our faces as we keep hugging and kissing. I sit on the couch cause my knees feel week from all this, she keeps standing in front of me and I take the opportunity to push up her shirt and nuzzle my nose against her belly "Hi baby, it's...it's your daddy" I say, my voice low and full of emotions "mommy and I love you so much already, we've been waiting for you..." "I love you so much Chris" she says gently cradling my head in her hands and leaning down to kiss me "I love you too, so fucking much" I whisper against her lips "No bad words, there's a minor in here..." she says making me chuckle "do you still want to watch the movie?" She asks "Only if you want to" "Or we could go cuddle up in bed" "Sounds perfect" I pick her up and walk into our bedroom, only letting her go for a second as I walk to the other side of the bed and get under the covers too "This already feels amazing" I say gently running my fingers on her stomach "can't wait till you show..." "Can't wait either"
While we were cuddling we talked about calling her doctor in the 27th and getting the fastest appointment he can get us to check in our little peanut. Before falling asleep myself I kept on lowly talking to our baby, telling them how much they are wanted and other things...couldn't end this Christmas in a better way!
