"Is this your first time visiting the doctor in your pregnancy journey?"

"Yes," I said and he nods.

"Please have a seat," he said and I looked at the chair.

I walked over to it and sat down. I started tapping my feet on the ground as I held on to my phone tightly.

"First time being pregnant? Uh seem a bit nervous,"

"No I'm sorry," I said with a nervous laugh.

"It's okay most moms that come in here are every nervous or very excited," he said with a warm smile.

"It's my second time, being pregnant. I had a miscarriage a couple years ago,"

Why mi did affi say dhat

Sigh*

"I'm terribly sorry," he said and I gave him a quick smile.

"Are we going to get started now?"

"Yes, the test has confirmed that you are pregnant so let's do a few checkups," he said and I nod.

He cleared his throat and took a seat.

"May I ask, when was your last period?"

"Around two months ago or so....Um—I have an irregular circle but I took a pregnancy test at home. It was negative,"

"One test?"

"Yes,"

"You know sometimes these pregnancy test aren't 100% accurate," he said

I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at the tile.

"Okay, we'll just start off with the regular like your weight and so on," he said and I nod.

I already checked my weight and pressure at home but okay

After doing a few tests and talking a bit, I laid down on the bed. I pulled up my short and he tucked a small towel into my jeans to protect it from the gel.

He started grabbing equipment and I stared into the ceiling.

"The gel is a bit cold—"

"I know," I said and soon I felt the cool jel on my stomach.

I closed my eyes as he spreads the gel and I started counting in my head.

Look I'm nervous, don't judge me

"Wow,"

I opened my eyes since I had completed ignored the fact that I was doing my first ultrasound.

"This little guy is far along," he said before pulling the screen so I could see it.

"It's a boy,"

"Oh no I'm sorry we're not sure at yet. I have a bad habit of saying little guy,"
