The next morning our small group was gathered around a campfire eating some eggs that Carol made for us. Glenn and I haven't been doing much eating though. We're nervous. And it's not about telling the group we're finally dating. I'm pretty sure the group has already picked up on that.

We're nervous because we decided last night right before we went to sleep that we need to tell the group about the walkers in the barn. Maggie and Oliver know that we're about to do this as well, and keep giving us the stink eye from the porch of the Greene's residence. But we've kept this a secret long enough. We need to protect our people. And keeping a barn full of walkers is the exact opposite of protecting them.

We then looked over at Dale who gave us a gentle nod to reassure us that telling everybody is the right thing to do. I'm just scared of what will happen afterwards. Will we be kicked off the farm? That's a possibility we may have to face.

Glenn and I both stood up from our spots and walked to a spot that is in front of everybody. I was the person who spoke first to get everyone's attention. "Hey, Guys.." A lot of people ignored me as they kept eating. "Guys, we have some news." This got mostly everyone's attention.

Andrea stopped sharpening her knife with the cheese grater. "If this is about you two dating, we already know. It's not really news to anyone. It's about time you two got together." After that comment my father's eyes met mine and he wasn't happy, far from it.

"Well thank you for announcing that to the whole group when I haven't even talked to my dad about that yet." I rolled my eyes about her. "That wasn't our news. And maybe you should mind your own damn business, huh?"

"Eve.." Glenn put a hand on my shoulder to help calm me down. Andrea is a massive bitch. She has no right airing my business like that. Glenn then looked to the group in front of us who are now all watching us curiously. "So.. The barn is full of walkers."

The next few seconds were filled with absolute silence. You could hear a pin drop, or I guess in this case a fork. T-Dog was so shocked by the news that he had dropped his fork on the ground.

Everyone walked over to the barn to investigate how true the news we just handed out was. Shane was currently looking into the barn through the cracks, and when he turned around his rage was like no other. He walked up to Rick and said, "You cannot tell me you're alright with this."

"No I'm not." Rick said angrily but still in a calmer tone than Shanes. "But we're guests here. This is not our land."

"This is our lives!" Shane yelled.

Glenn immediately shushed him. "Lower your voice."

"We can't just sweep this under the rug." Andrea argued.

"Okay," Shane started speaking at a lower volume. "We've either got to go in there, we've got to make things right, or we've just got to go. Now we've been talking about Fort Benning for a long time."

"You've been talking about Fort Benning." I rolled my eyes. "I've tried to tell you that it's most likely gone. If the CDC is gone than Fort Benning is definitely gone."

"Let me tell you something, Girl-"

"We can't go!" Rick yelled at Shane.

"Why, Rick? Why?" Shane questioned the leader of our group.

"Because my daughter is still out there." Carol spoke up.

"Okay." Shane scoffed. "Okay, I think it's time that we all start to just consider the other possibility."

"Shane!" Rick yelled. "We are not leaving Sophia behind."

"I'm close to findin' this girl." Dad told Shane. "I just found her damn doll two days ago."
