It had been two days since they ran into Tenjiku, and Y/n had some noticeable cuts and bruises from the brawl.
"What's going on, Y/n?" Her father talked to her with his hand on his hips while she sat on the couch. "Did someone bully you?"
She looked to the side, well... technically somebody did but it's not like her father asked who and where. Y/n shrugged. "I took care of it,"
He sighed. "I told you to tell me whenever that happens," He rested his hand on her knee as he kneeled in front of her. "...did you win?"
Y/n smiled. "Of course,"
Her father mirrored her smile. "That's my girl," He then stood up. "Just remember, be sure to hit back when they're the first to attack,"
"Yes, Dad," Y/n nodded.
"Alright," He then fixed his suit before looking at his watch. "I better get going, I have an important meeting to attend to,"
"Take care," She waved goodbye and he did as well.
Y/n's father was strict, he told her to follow the rules but never to take bullshit from anyone.
You need to prove you're stronger than those who try to trample over you, another reason why she taught herself how to fight, not just because of the bullying she got when she was little, was also to show anyone that she isn't someone to be taken lightly.
She often wondered why her father didn't seem that bothered that she would get into fights, but then again, she guessed he was alright with it since it was purely for self-defense.
She sighed, looking at the calendar.
Classes were starting again in a week, and she wasn't too thrilled about it, after the disaster she had done with her exams, she was starting to think high school wasn't for her.
In her previous school, she was considered one of the smartest, but after being in a class full of really smart people, well, let's just say she had become average.
It was honestly a punch in the gut, now she had to study even harder to get back on track. Was she a burnout? She groaned thinking about it.
Y/n then opened her phone and dialed Inupi's number. It rang multiple times, more than usual before it was finally answered.
"Hey, Y/n, what is it?" His voice sounded out of breath. "Do you need something?"
"No, not really..." She replied. "What are you doing?"
"I'm in the middle of a fight- Koko behind you!" Inupi's voice kept getting faint at some points of the phone call like his hand was being distanced from his face.
"What...?!" She exclaimed and stood from his seat. "Where are you? And who are you fighting? Is it those guys from before?"
"No, worse..." The blond heaved. "It's Toman,"
She stopped. Toman? Aren't those the new group he joined? She thought they were good... so what was happening?
The phone was then taken from Inupi and an unfamiliar voice spoke. "Sorry, but your boyfriend's in trouble," Their voice sounded muffled.
"If you do anything, I'll fuck you up," She threatened, though she knew it would do nothing.
"Don't worry, we won't kill him... that is if he complies," They spoke again and the call was dropped.
She stared at the ended call with a frown and furrowed brows. "He's not my boyfriend though," Y/n muttered before texting her father's secretary asking to track the location of the phone through the call.
